00:00Hi, my name is Leslie Pennington. I'm headteacher at Whiteley Primary School.
00:04So Leslie, tell me how it feels to receive your recent Ofsted.
00:08We are absolutely delighted to get Outstanding for our judgement again.
00:12Back in 2013 we were deemed Outstanding and over those 11 years we've continued to work really hard for our community.
00:18So it's lovely for the inspectors to come in and see what makes our school really special.
00:22So tell me what sets Whiteley Primary School off against the other schools in the area.
00:26So our vision is a place to smile and smile stands for five things that are really important for our school.
00:32As well as representing the fact that this is a really happy place to work and to learn.
00:36And the children here are fantastic and we're so proud of what they achieved.
00:40And our staff worked really hard and so that teamwork really paid off for our inspection.
00:44But it goes on day in day out so I'm pleased for them that they've had somebody come in and tell them what a fantastic job they're doing.
