00:00So my name is David Clark and I'm standing for election for the Moorenshire Council 2024 elections.
00:09So I'm running for council because when I moved to Croydon in 2020 I felt important to get
00:15involved in the local community and join various committees and just realise that there were a few
00:20issues going on and I've had a few wins but I feel that by standing for council being
00:27elected council I could really make a difference to the whole shire building on what I've achieved already.
00:38So my three priorities really are advocating for minimum rate rises, the work I've been doing
00:45through the Croydon Industry Progress Association, the Victoria Park Community Asset Management
00:51Committee and also with the Men's Shed. I've been advocating and identifying issues where
00:56outcomes could be achieved better value for money and I've had a couple of wins and I feel
01:02that I could achieve more for the whole shire through being successfully elected to council.
