44:16Mr. Monsoon is declaring at this moment that the Intercontinental Championship is vacant.

44:26Now, that's still not right.
44:27He has ordered that a rematch take place here next week
44:33between Savio Vega and Goldust for the Intercontinental Championship.
44:40That's still not fair, McMahon.
44:42Goldust should still be the champion.
44:44Gorilla Monsoon obviously seeing merit in the decision of both officials
44:50and hearing their arguments, I guess, as ruled such as Solomon would have
44:56as best you can under these circumstances.

45:30However, speaking of titles, as we promised you now, ladies and gentlemen,

45:36Bret Hart had just lost the WWF Championship to Shawn Michaels.
45:40Indeed, the match was restarted after the 60-minute mark.
45:43Rowdy Roddy Piper had stated there had to be a winner.
45:47And finally, there was.
45:49Look at this.
45:50I guarantee you, Bret Hart was expected to come into throngs of congratulations
45:54and well-wishers.
45:55Wasn't to be.
45:56The media wanted to know what was on Bret's mind.
46:00Look, I don't blame you for shoving the media out of there.
46:02The press, they're parasites, McMahon.
46:04And Bret Hart wanted nothing to do with either the media or anyone else
46:09at that moment.
46:10He had lost the most.
46:11He didn't even shower.
46:12He just packed up his stuff and was leaving the building.
46:14He had lost the most precious thing in the world to him other than his family.
46:19He had lost the World Wrestling Federation Championship.
46:22On the banks of the Rhine River in Germany,
46:24Bret Hart now will reflect upon his WrestleMania match,
46:27other potential wrestling opportunities, and his future here in the WWF.
46:31You know, there's a lot of things that were wrong about that match.
46:35The match itself wasn't beneficial to me, but that's fine.
46:39I accepted that, and I still accept that.
46:42The fact that if it was going to be an hour, 60-minute,
46:46that's what I hear, 60-minute Iron Man match.
46:49It wasn't a 60-minute Iron Man match.
46:51It was a 62-minute Iron Man match.
46:53And if there was going to be overtime or sudden death or anything of that nature,
46:57why did they ring the bell in the first place?
46:59They should have just, here, it's like, I wait.
47:03I wait, and I wait, and I promise myself that I'm going to wait
47:07until this guy makes this one big mistake.
47:09And he does.
47:11He makes it at the 59-minute mark.
47:13He gets careless, just like I always, I know this guy.
47:15He's going to get careless, and he makes that mistake.
47:19And then they got, it's almost like they have the nerve to come up
47:22after I've beaten him.
47:24You know, he didn't give up, but don't tell me.
47:26No one can convince me that he wasn't history.
47:28He was done. He was finished.
47:30In the middle of the ring, there was no ropes.
47:32There was no rope that could save him.
47:33There wasn't any way he was going to kick out
47:35or kick me in the face or anything.
47:37He was a beaten man.
47:39He knows it, and I know it.
47:41And they rang the bell.
47:43And it's not my job to beat Shawn Michaels.
47:45I said that from the very, very beginning.
47:47It's my job to keep the title.
47:49It's his job to beat me, and he never did in the 60-minute Iron Man match.
47:53I walked out of that ring.
47:54I should have kept on going back to the dress room.
47:57And, you know, it's that delay, that little delay there
48:01of 2 or 3 minutes of getting the match restarted
48:05and kind of getting my blood boiling.
48:09And that's where I made my big mistake.
48:13I could never, ever see working for another organization
48:17because I think it would be a step down.
48:20And, you know, as I understand,
48:23there's certain wrestling organizations
48:27that seem to be throwing a lot of money around.
48:30I'd like to make it very well understood
48:33that I'm not somebody that's greedy for money.
48:37I'm a person that's greedy for respect.
48:40And the only place I'm ever going to get respect
48:42is in the World Wrestling Federation.
48:45I think there's a certain part of me
48:47that has less and less yearning to even come back to it
48:51because I think I feel a little bit betrayed.
48:54As always, it seems like every time I lose that damn title,
48:56I'm a little bit betrayed.
48:59Yeah, I'd like a title shot first thing tomorrow morning.
