00:00But let's turn it to another fantastic showdown we saw in the SEC earlier today.
00:10It was the Aggies, number 25 in the nation, Texas A&M toppling the Missouri Tigers.
00:16This was an impressive route out there at College Station.
00:18It was expected to be a close one.
00:20The oddsmakers had it at two and a half point favorites towards the home team in the Aggies.
00:2441 to 10 was the end score.
00:27We get the overs there as well.
00:29And for the Tigers, they just didn't come ready to play rich.
00:32They'll scoreless through the first half, and they were never in this game.
00:36Yeah, I'm glad you brought this one up.
00:38I thought when we were going to be on the air tonight, this would be the biggest game.
00:43This would be the most impressive SEC team.
00:45Obviously, Vandy flipped the script on that.
00:48But don't discount what Texas A&M did.
00:51This looked like a matchup of even teams.
00:55Missouri comes in number nine.
00:57A&M was on the back end of the top 25.
01:01This to me, Dubs, is all about Mike Elko.
01:04Go back to what Mike Elko did at Duke.
01:06Didn't take long for him to completely turn around the mess that he inherited from David
01:11Cutcliffe in Durham.
01:13And all of a sudden, with Riley Leonard at quarterback, Duke was winning eight, nine
01:17games and in bowl games.
01:19This is year one at Texas A&M.
01:21He inherited a mess from Jimbo Fisher.
01:24And all of a sudden, A&M is climbing up the top 25.
01:28And perhaps if the SEC gets four, five, maybe as many as six teams into the playoffs, look
01:35at that Texas A&M schedule until you get to the Longhorns at the end of the season, which
01:40you want to talk about doozies.
01:41That is going to be an epic matchup between those two hated rivals.
01:46A&M does not have a game in which they're going to be an underdog until you get to the
01:50end of November.
01:51Connor Wegman is back under center.
01:54Marcel Reed, the true freshman, did a great job in his place.
01:57But Wegman is a next-level quarterback.
01:59If he can stay healthy, he's going to play on Sundays.
02:02That defense has been fantastic.
02:03And the way they shut down Brady Cook, Luther Burden, one of the best wide receivers in
02:08the country.
02:09Again, setting aside Vandy, that's in a category of its own today.
02:12But in terms of week six, A&M, as impressive as any team on the schedule today, what they
02:18did to Mizzou, extraordinarily impressive.
02:21They take a lot of momentum into the second half of the season.
02:24Yeah, they made the Tigers' secondary look pretty ordinary there as well.
02:29So you already highlight Connor Wegman, he is the quarterback to give him the best chance
02:33moving through the rest of the season.
02:35He was a game-time decision, but taking a look at that production, 512 yards of total
02:40offense there for the Aggies.
02:41And the run game was pretty strong as well.
02:44Le'Veon Moss, I mean, 12 carries, 138 yards in three house calls.
02:48So suddenly, Texas A&M, they could be a very tough out, moving through a pretty light schedule
02:54there for the next three, four, five weeks.
02:56I can see they got LSU in a couple.
02:58That should be a fantastic matchup over there in Baton Rouge.
03:03So Texas A&M toppled the Tigers.
03:05That was one of the games of the day, 41-10, Aggies cover, and we get the overs there as well.
