00:00This is one of the dirtiest beaches in the entire world and we're going to pick up every
00:06single piece of trash on this beach, starting with this water bottle.
00:10One out of millions of pieces of trash.
00:12We did it.
00:13This will take forever.
00:14Bottle me up baby.
00:18I'm hungry for your plastic.
00:20As you can see, this is taking forever.
00:21Oscar, come on in.
00:23This is Oscar, professional beach cleaner.
00:25Is this basically how you guys clean beaches?
00:27Mainly the big stuff first and then we bring a lot of people with sifts as well for the
00:30small stuff.
00:31You scoop it into this thing and then shake out the sand and you got a bunch of trash.
00:35This right here is the first bag of trash.
00:38Hundreds more to go.
00:39How do we do this quicker?
00:40We just need more people.
00:41That seems simple.
00:42Can you clap for me?
00:43There you go.
00:44All the volunteers.
00:45Okay guys, we're going to clean this up using the device.
00:49We're going to clean this up.
00:50Groups of four, groups of four in this area.
00:53Part of me wanted to see if me and the boys could clean up this beach by ourselves and
00:56the other part of me realizes that would have taken a year.
00:58I could have told you that.
01:00Jimmy.
01:01Yeah?
01:02The ocean's putting more trash on the beach.
01:03There's so much underwear in the ocean.
01:05I'm enacting a new law.
01:07Thou shalt not throw your underwear in the ocean.
01:09Wait, did you guys already fill up a bag?
01:11Yeah.
01:12You guys are better than us.
01:13They are professionals to be fair.
01:20After 12 hours of cleanup, this is what we managed to achieve.
01:24Which isn't enough.
01:25Boys, bring it in.
01:26Tomorrow I'm going to bring in 10 times the volunteers.
01:28Tomorrow.
01:29Tomorrow.
01:30It's now the next day.
01:31I'm helping.
01:32Nah, nah, nah.
01:33Slowly, slowly.
01:34Who's more bueno, Mark Rover or Mr. B?
01:35Make sure you watch until the end of the video to find out how we're going to pick up 30 million
01:49pounds of trash.
01:50Thank you for coming to our country and help us with this initiative that is really unheard
01:57of.
01:58Right here.
02:00Right there.
02:01Stop.
02:02He's not stopping.
02:03I'm going to move.
02:04And this bad boy is 6,000 pounds of trash.
02:07And now we have 36,000 pounds of trash, which weighs the same as 3,000 cats or three T-Rexes.
02:13Whichever you prefer.
02:14While I was talking with some of the locals, they mentioned that there's a beach down the
02:18street that was also very dirty.
02:20So I sent Nolan with a bunch of volunteers to go clean that beach as well.
02:24There's a whole car bumper right here.
02:25There's a car bumper here?
02:26Did this come out of the ocean?
02:27People litter weird things.
02:28What type of trash have you seen along the beach?
02:30Most importantly, most commonly, it's plastics.
02:32And we see that in every form on the beach here.
02:34They ended up removing 12,000 pounds of trash, which brought us up to a total of 50,000 pounds
02:39of trash from just two beaches.
02:41Check out this power move.
02:43Watch this.
02:44Look at that.
02:45Is that how you want us to dump it?
02:46Yeah, dude.
02:47I'm taking over the team.
02:48I'm the team player.
02:49Oh, yeah.
02:50Take a look.
02:51There you go, Mark.
02:52It actually kind of works.
02:53Yeah, all right.
02:54And if you guys look over there, we're actually getting close to the end of the beach.
02:56This is what the beach looked like at the start of the video, and this is what it looks
02:59like with like 20% left.
03:01We're getting there.
03:02We're doing it.
03:03Unfortunately, between the ocean washing up trash to the beach and rivers bringing in
03:06new trash from the mainland, obviously this beach is going to get dirty again.
03:10But with your guys' help, we can stop a much bigger issue.
03:13We're almost done, Jimmy.
03:15I know.
03:16Four straight days of picking up trash.
03:18And just like that, we removed over 60,000 pounds of trash from the world's dirtiest
03:22beach.
03:23And even though this 60,000 pounds of trash we picked up might seem impressive, there
03:27is sadly way too much trash still in the ocean.
03:29Two years ago, we crushed our goals with Team Trees and planted 20 million trees.
03:34And now it's time to do it again.
03:36Which is why we, along with hundreds of other creators, are launching Team Seas.
03:40And for every $1 you guys donate like this, one less pound of trash will be in the ocean.
03:45But what if I wanted to donate $10, Jimmy?
03:48I conveniently have 10 pounds of trash right here that is now out of the ocean.
03:52Boom. Gone.
03:53You get the point.
03:54$1 donated is one less pound of trash in the ocean.
03:56And I'd like to personally thank YouTube Originals for supporting Team Seas and helping
04:00us fund it.
04:01They're going to be matching the first $400,000 worth of donations dollar for dollar.
04:05And we want to remove 30 million pounds of trash from the ocean.
04:09Which is just so freaking audacious.
04:11This only happens if we all work together.
04:13Half the money we raise is going towards funding volunteer beach cleanups like we did here
04:17today all across the world.
04:20As well as literally fishing trash out of the ocean.
04:23And the other half will be used for these trash eating robots that pick up trash 24
04:27hours a day, 365 days a year from rivers that flow to the ocean.
04:32Go to teamseas.org or click the donate button below this video right now.
04:36$1 equals one less pound of trash in the ocean.
04:38Making real change like this isn't going to be easy.
04:40Go donate right now and help us remove 30 million pounds of trash from the ocean before
04:44the end of the year.
04:45Let's show the world that we want a clean ocean.
04:53What are you doing?
04:54Get out of here.
04:55Go donate.
