“Granice kiše” je film o pripadanju i čežnji – smještenoj blizu Jadranskog mora. Mlada djevojka dolazi u posjetu rodbini na selu, budeći nadu, ljubav i radoznalost. Priča se odvija na granici Crne Gore, Bosne i Hecegovine i Hrvatske, i ogleda se u narativnoj strukturi filma, slomljenoj u dva dijela i epilogu. Njeno vilinsko prisusutvo omogućava da se stvore veze među porodicama podijeljenim novim granicama – bez potrebe za pasošima ili kišobranima.
