00:17General Santos City is known as the tuna capital of the Philippines.

02:11It is estimated that 30% to 40% of tourism is in the city's economy.

02:19LGU also plans to be a smart and sustainable city.
02:22Last year, the city recorded 1.5 million tourist arrivals
02:27while the tourism receipts are at 1.9 billion pesos.
02:30The city's target this year is to reach 1.7 million tourist arrivals.
