00:00More than P7 million worth of fund for health emergency allowance of health workers is missing from the vault of the Treasurer's Office in Sagay, Negros Occidental.

00:21Egan, in the presence of the Commission on Audit, the controversial vault of the Treasurer's Office in Sagay City was opened and it was discovered that it has no money in it.

00:32Through a code combination held by the Treasurer's Office in Sagay City, the vault was opened where P7.3 million worth of fund for health emergency allowance of health workers was placed.

00:50The combination was with the admin officer. It was also the Treasurer who opened the combination with the holding of the combination itself.

01:04When it was opened, the vault has no money in it.

01:07When it was opened yesterday, the vault has no money in it. It was Mayor, our legal, Atty. Brent, Atty. Eman of COA and personnel, Aquaraman.

01:26The Treasurer asked Joby Pinungan where the money is, but he did not answer even before the vault was opened.

01:33Pinungan was sent by the Commission on Audit a demand letter where he needs to submit the liquidation of P22 million worth of health emergency allowance within 30 days.

01:45We will give that information also to BLGF if we file a charge here to BLGF.

02:00Several times, the news team tried to get the Treasurer's permission through the Sagay City Information Office, but according to them, he will not give the permission.

02:15The Treasurer was charged with administrative charges by the Sagay City LGU. He will also face criminal charges filed by the Commission on Audit.
