Every dog has its election day

Labor promises a better deal for dogs if it wins the upcoming ACT election.

00:02very important contest at the same time as the election, which is the contender for the Minister for Dogs.

00:09So there are 12 candidates. Poppy is one and

00:13Poppy's platform is that she would like more dog-friendly nature reserves and

00:19some more places to hang out off-lead, but we also know that they're very keen for a new

00:26facility for the RSPCA, which we have committed to.

00:30Forty million dollars has been set aside at a

00:33location in Piyalago, and Poppy would also like to see her friends at Domestic Animal Services in some

00:39better accommodation as well, and

00:42I'm very proud that ACT Labor has committed to upgrading the facilities at DAS, which we'll look towards doing

00:49before the end of the next term.
