Sante Zennaro (Grignano Polesine, 24 October 1933 – Terrazzano, 10 October 1956) was an Italian worker, awarded the gold medal for civil valor on 19 October 1956. He lost his life at the young age of 23 to save 97 students who had been taken hostage along with three teachers.
