01:16Hang around.
01:20Welcome, welcome to Lions Roar 3.8 Ministries.
01:23Amos 3.8 tells us,
01:25The Lion has roared, who will not fear or hear?
01:28The Lord God has spoken, who can but prophesy?
01:33My name is George Magalhães, and we are an apostolic ministry with a prophetic teaching
01:38edge.
01:39It is our passion, our mission to reignite, equip, and release Christ-like disciples both
01:44locally and globally.
01:47We do that through our itinerant ministry, but as well as providing with resources just
01:51like this one to help you, to aid you in your God-given calling.
01:56Today, we have a fantastic topic bringing us to our main verse, and our main verse comes
02:04from the book of 1 Thessalonians 5.16-18.
02:11That's 1 Thessalonians 5.16-18.
02:14We're reading from the New King James Version.
02:16Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in
02:24Christ Jesus for you.
02:26Hallelujah.
02:27Amen?
02:28Amen.
02:29Hello, beauty.
02:32What a gorgeous guest I have here today.
02:36By the way, she's my wife, Sabrina.
02:38So Prophet Sabrina is here with us again today.
02:42Wherever you're watching from the world, hi, God bless you all.
02:46We have an amazing topic today, which is the power of prayer, embracing God's presence
02:51and authority.
02:52Before we get onto it, let me give you just a little introduction of what we're going
02:58to be covering today.
02:59So in today's study, we'll be uncovering prayer as an incredible gift that connects us directly
03:06with our Heavenly Father.
03:08Through it, we communicate with God, affirm our identity as His children, and exercise
03:15the authority He has granted us.
03:17We will explore the significance of prayer, how to pray effectively, and why some prayers
03:23go unanswered.
03:25We'll also look at how praying in the Spirit aligns us with God's will, allowing us to
03:29experience His kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven.
03:33We will be studying all of this within the following specific key points.
03:39And I'll say this once, within the following specific key points.
03:42It does sound like a lot, but it's not a lot.
03:44We'll be covering this on an introductory level.
03:47So listen up.
03:48The first specific important key point that we'll be covering is...
03:55Importance of prayer.
03:56Importance of prayer.
03:57The second one is learning to pray.
04:00And the third one...
04:02Praying in and with the Spirit.
04:06Entitling praying in the Spirit, praying with the Spirit.
04:10Number four is reasons for unanswered prayer, which we have one, two, three, four, five
04:18mini or subtopics to cover within that topic itself.
04:24Not all, it's mini, like George said.
04:27Yes, so four reasons for unanswered prayer will include refusing to hear the truth, unbelief,
04:33willful stubbornness, unforgiveness, and presumption and pride.
04:40Then we have number five.
04:42Effective prayer.
04:44Effective prayer will include...
04:45Effective prayer begins with directing our hearts to the Father in Jesus' name.
04:51Effective prayer must come from a sincere heart.
04:54Effective prayer holds an unhesitant submission to God's sovereign's will.
04:59Effective prayer must also be offered in faith.
05:02And finally, effective prayer must be accompanied with thanksgiving and praise.
05:07Amen.
05:08Amen.
05:09All right.
05:10Fire away.
05:11Fire away.
05:12We start, right?
05:13Yep.
05:14All right.
05:15So we'll...
05:16Right.
05:17That's right.
05:18Today we...
05:19Today I'm excited about it because it's, you know, it's something that we do every day,
05:22communicating with God.
05:23Prayer, today we're excited about it into...
05:27It's a beautiful topic, isn't it?
05:29Of the power of prayer, which most of us know is essential part of our faith journey.
05:36Prayer plays a vital role in our relationship with God, helping us to connect deeply and
05:42affirm our identity as His children.
05:46So through prayer, we not only communicate with God, but also embrace the authority He
05:54has given us.
05:56It's a wonderful gift we've been provided with, you know, to experience His kingdom
06:01here on earth as it is in heaven.
06:04It's a wonderful also opportunity to deepen our understanding together today, right?
06:09So we're all going to be listening, we're all going to be getting into it.
06:16As George has already stated earlier, in today's study, we will be looking in several key points
06:20which fall within the following major key points regarding the power of prayer.
06:25Now, the reason why we say it again is for you guys to understand the order of it, right?
06:30So the first one is importance of prayer, learning of prayer, praying in and with the
06:35Spirit.
06:36And then?
06:37Number four, reasons for unanswered prayer.
06:39Number five, effective prayer.
06:41Right.
06:42So I encourage you to really listen and study these because even though they are just, again,
06:48we say it, introduction, so it's not really that much in depth, simple, but very powerful
06:55key for us to understand and manifest it in our life journey, right?
07:01We're going to start our study now.
07:02So the first one is importance of prayer.
07:06Now, according to Eastern Bible dictionary of prayer, prayer is conversing with God.
07:12It's the intercourse, communication, connection, interchange of the soul with God, not in contemplation
07:21or meditation, but in direct address to Him, a direct access, yeah?
07:28It's not about being eloquent in our words, thou say the Lord, you know?
07:33What truly matters with prayer is that our prayers come from the heart, filled with confidence
07:39and importantly aligned with God's will.
07:43Now prayer is essential in our journey of faith, like we've talked about, right?
07:47It's not just an option.
07:48So it's not like it's an option if I don't like praying, so I don't pray, but it's a
07:53vital part of our walk with Him.
07:56It's a communication, like I said before.
07:58Now, while there are many forms of prayer, today we will focus on the powerful practice
08:04of praying in and with the Spirit.
08:08Let's read our first verse, you want to read that?
08:111 Thessalonians 5, 16 to 18, so 1 Thessalonians 5, 16 to 18, reading from the New King James
08:18Version.
08:19Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in
08:26Christ Jesus for you.
08:29So what is the importance of prayer?
08:31As we said, this is a mini topics that we have, and the importance of prayer, as we
08:38just covered, is that prayer is important because amongst other things, it is a vital
08:44connection with God, affirming our identity as His children and expecting, but also experiencing
08:53His kingdom on earth.
08:55It's not just communication, it's a gift that strengthens our faith journey, amen.
09:01So number two, learning to pray.
09:04Now prayer is a beautiful expression from the heart, like we've talked about before,
09:09and when we align it with the Word of God, as emphasized in 1 John 5, verse 14, it becomes
09:15even more powerful.
09:17It ensures that our prayer resonates with His will, which allows that prayer to truly
09:25benefit us.
09:27Now God's Word is designed to what?
09:29To uplift, support us, assuring us that He withholds no good things from our lives.
09:35So even as we are praying, it helps us to know we are basically declaring what God is
09:41declaring upon us, right?
09:43So by embracing this truth, we foster a deeper connection to His loving guidance and reaching
09:50our own journey, right?
09:52So can you read 1 John 5, verse 14 from the AMPC?
09:581 John 5, verse 14, and this is the confidence, the assurance, the privilege of boldness which
10:03we have in Him.
10:06We are sure that if we ask anything, make any request according to His will, in agreement
10:12with His own plan, He listens to and hears us.
10:16All right, number two, so how do we learn to pray?
10:20We learn to pray as exemplified by Jesus, who taught His disciples, you can look at
10:26Luke 11, 1 to 2, the Lord's Prayer, serving as a model for us on how to approach God in
10:33prayer.
10:34Amen.
10:36Now, this is further explained, like George said, in Luke 11, verse 1 to 2, when the disciples
10:44asked Jesus to teach them how to pray.
10:47Can you read the verse?
10:48Luke 11, 1 to 2.
10:51Then He was praying in a certain place, and when He stopped, one of His disciples said
10:56to Him, Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught His disciples.
11:02And He said to them, when you pray, say, Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be your
11:07name.
11:08Your kingdom come, your will be done, held holy and revered on earth as it is in heaven.
11:15Now, it's quite important, because in this verse we see that it was a practice that was
11:21also done.
11:22If you read, I think, before that, you will understand that it was also a practice done
11:28by John the Baptist, reflecting a tradition that spans both from the Old and the New Testament,
11:34right?
11:35So, throughout Scripture, we see how God communicates His guidance, thus learning to pray with His
11:40Word, His guidance through His prophets, inspiring the restoration of paths and healings of breaches.
11:47Now, the Lord's Prayer is a model Jesus provided, demonstrating how to effectively pray by incorporating
11:55God's words and intention.
11:58I like this guy, quote of this guy, Ben Zumbano, he puts it as such, says, Jesus was accommodating
12:06the disciples' need, and He understood that they needed a model to follow before the Holy
12:13Spirit could lead them on their own, through His spirit of prayer into spirit-led praying
12:20on their own.
12:22Because we all know that when they asked for that, that was before they had the encounter
12:28with the Holy Spirit and praying in tongues.
12:30Now let's keep going.
12:31Number three, praying in and with the spirit.
12:35Now that's two, I've separated those two.
12:38We'll start with the number one, praying in the spirit.
12:41Praying in the spirit often expressed through speaking in tongues.
12:46It's a powerful way to strengthen, according to the Word of God, our faith, and help us
12:51to remain anchored in God's love.
12:54Because when you're praying in tongues, the Holy Spirit prays through you, so your prayer
12:58will be from God's love, will be from the point of view of God praying, what God is
13:04praying for you.
13:06So when we engage in this form of prayer, we remind ourselves that God is actively working
13:11in us, for us, and through us.
13:15So in us, when God does edify us and all that, for us, when we don't know what word
13:20to say, and the Holy Spirit brings forth the utterance as we are praying in tongues, and
13:29through us, when sometimes God will say, oh, can you pray for so-and-so, and you don't
13:34know what to pray, right?
13:36Now this helps us set aside our thoughts when we pray in tongues, so our spirit can connect
13:42deeply with the Father.
13:45Now if you read that in Romans 8, verse 26 from the NKJV version, can you read it?
13:51Romans 8, verse 26.
13:53Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses, for we do not know what we should pray, for
13:59as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot
14:08be uttered.
14:10Now this inspires us to lean on the Holy Spirit who lovingly guides our prayer, right?
14:19So now we're going to go to the second part of it, which is praying with the Spirit.
14:26What praying with the Spirit requires us to, it's different, it requires us to pray with
14:32understanding of the Word of God, right?
14:35Praying the Word of God then enriches our prayers and aligns them with His divine will.
14:41How do we know that something is the will of God for our life is when we can align it
14:46with His Word.
14:47So as we pray with the Spirit, it requires us understanding of the Word of God.
14:53Now this guidance helps us to avoid praying from a place of flesh.
14:57In some cases, or Pentecostal case, you know, when you hear people say, oh, they're doing
15:02witchcraft, instead of praying the right thing, because it's not, how do you call it, aligned
15:08with the Word of God.
15:09So it helps us to steer clear of any tendencies that could lead us away from His truth.
15:15Now that is confirmed in 1 Corinthians chapter 4, verse 15 from the AMPC version we are reading.
15:211 Corinthians 14, 15 from the Amplified Classic.
15:25Then what am I to do?
15:27I will pray with my spirit, by the Holy Spirit that is within me.
15:31But I will also pray intelligently with my mind and understanding.
15:37I will sing with my spirit, by the Holy Spirit that is within me.
15:41But I will sing intelligently with my mind and understanding also.
15:45That's confirming that.
15:46So God, the cool thing about it, and I know I always say that how good is that, that we
15:50are being equipped.
15:51I always say that, and I always say it because it is the truth.
15:54How great is our God that He has equipped us with the gift necessary for effective prayer,
16:00including knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.
16:03It comes with prayer, where the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our, through our understanding
16:08of the Word of God.
16:09You don't pray for, for example, babe, you don't pray and say for, for A for example,
16:15but you use the prayer that is responded to B for A, right?
16:20But when you do something and you, you know what your target is, you will pray in a way
16:24that will hit the bullseye, in another word, right?
16:27So that's where praying with understanding, with the knowledge and wisdom of God comes
16:31in.
16:32When we acknowledge these truths, we open ourselves to be guided by the Spirit of God,
16:37allowing our words to flow with incredible power, thus, you know, hitting bullseye when
16:43you're praying.
16:44Hopefully it makes sense.
16:46And that is further confirmed in Ephesians chapter one, verse 17, do you want to read
16:50it?
16:51Ephesians 1, 17 in the Amplified Classic.
16:53For I always pray to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that he
16:59may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation of insights into mysteries and secrets in
17:05the deep and intimate knowledge of him.
17:08Right.
17:09Number four, number four is reasons for unanswered prayer, right?
17:17There are several insightful reason why prayers may go unanswered.
17:22And together we're going to explore some of the most common ones.
17:26It's not all, it's some of them.
17:29One of the key reasons we may experience unanswered prayers is when we overlook the truth found
17:34in God's word, refusing to hear the truth.
17:40Yes, God is not going to force us to hear the truth.
17:45That's why he says, those who have ears, let them hear, right?
17:49We're going to read it from, we're going to read a verse corresponding to that from
17:54Proverbs chapter 28, verse nine.
17:57Proverbs 28, verse nine, Amplified Classic, he who turns away his ear from hearing the
18:02law of God and man, even his prayer is an abomination, hateful and revolting to God.
18:10That's right.
18:11So basically what it means is, again, there needs to be understanding because through
18:18the understanding of the word of God, you will understand if what you're praying is
18:23of the truth of God.
18:24And if you refuse the truth that is being said unto you by God or through his word,
18:29and you keep praying, it will not be answered.
18:33Number two is unbelief.
18:36Unbelief can create obstacles in our lives, much like a barrier that hinders us from embracing
18:41the blessing God has for us.
18:44It's like a baby who's hungry and is crying, right?
18:49And you're like, you're giving a bottle, right?
18:52But they're not grabbing to reach it, to take that bottle.
18:56They just keep crying within themselves, having like, no, I don't know if that's food.
19:01I don't know if that's food or I don't believe that's food.
19:03So they keep pushing it, you know, because they don't realize, babies, they don't realize
19:07what food you're giving to them.
19:09What is food until you just say, hey, you know, this is food.
19:13And they eat it.
19:14It's the same way.
19:15Yes, I'm a mom of three, three kids.
19:19So we will correspond that to Matthew chapter 17, verse 19 to 20.
19:27Matthew 17, 19 to 20 in the upper part of classic, then the disciples came to Jesus
19:32and asked privately, why could we not drive it out?
19:36He said to them, because of the littleness of your faith, that is your lack of firmly
19:41relying trust.
19:43But truly, I say to you, if you have faith that is living like a grain of mustard seed,
19:49you can say to this mountain, move from here to yonder place and it will move and nothing
19:54will be impossible to you.
19:56Wow.
19:57Unbelief.
19:58Next one, willful stubbornness.
20:02It can make us resistant and less open to embracing God's wonderful plan for us.
20:07It's such a simple thing.
20:10We'll get the confirmation from it, from Jeremiah chapter 16, verse 12 to 13.
20:16Jeremiah 16, 12 to 13, again, in the amplified classic.
20:19And because you have done worse than your fathers, for behold, every one of you walks
20:24after the stubbornness of his own evil heart, so that you do not listen to and obey me.
20:30Therefore, I will cast you out of this land of Judah into the land of the Babylonians.
20:35Neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you will serve other gods day and night,
20:41for I will show you no favor there.
20:46That in itself is another preaching.
20:48We'll keep going though.
20:50Next one is unforgiveness.
20:53Unforgiveness can feel like a trap we create for ourselves.
20:57It fosters a sense of pride that pulls us away from our authentic self and our relationship
21:03with God.
21:04By holding on to grudges, we risk missing out on the peace and connection we truly desire.
21:12Just as Jesus forgave us, we are invited to extend that same grace to others.
21:18Mark chapter 11, verse 25 to 26, from the AMPC version.
21:23Mark 11, 25 to 26.
21:24And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let
21:30it drop, leave it and let it go.
21:33In order that your Father who is in heaven may also forgive you and your own failings
21:38and shortcomings and let them drop.
21:41But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and
21:44shortcomings.
21:47Next one, presumption and pride.
21:50Now the Dictionary of the Bible theme describes presumption as a form of self-confidence which
21:56makes overconfident assumptions concerning one's importance and rights.
22:02In another word, to proceed without proper authority or consentment, assuming that, and
22:07I'm sure all of us have fallen into that, assuming that God is somewhat required to
22:12endorse your chosen endeavors.
22:14It's like, you know, this is how I want the solution to be, Lord.
22:19Bless the solution, Lord, in the short version way of it.
22:24To confirm that, let's read on Luke chapter 18, verse 10 to 14 from the AMPC.
22:29It's just a little story in the Bible.
22:32Luke 18, 10 to 14, two men went up into the temple enclosure to pray, the one a Pharisee
22:42and the other a tax collector.
22:44The Pharisee took his stand ostentatiously and began to pray thus before and with himself.
22:50God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of men, extortionists, robbers, swindlers,
22:57unrighteous in heart and life, adulterous, and even like this tax collector here.
23:03I fast twice a week.
23:05I give tithes of all that I gain.
23:08But the tax collector, merely standing at a distance, would not even lift up his eyes
23:12to heaven, but kept striking his breast, saying, oh God, be favorable, be gracious, be merciful
23:20to me, especially wicked sinner that I am.
23:24I tell you, this man went down to his home justified, forgiven, and made upright and
23:30in right standing with God, rather than the other man.
23:34For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.
23:43Wonderful story, isn't it?
23:45And lastly, we're going to look at effective prayer.
23:48So this is like some key points on it and a practical point of it.
23:53How then to pray effective prayer, if all the things that we've just talked to you about,
23:58how do we go about, right?
24:00And like we talked about before, Jesus taught how to pray, so that there is understanding
24:07in it as well.
24:10So we also, so you hear us sometimes say, oh, George has done a lot of declaration nights
24:16and we've done a lot of those kinds of prayers, and sometimes we ask, well, if it's coming
24:22from the heart, why do you have to teach?
24:25This is a reason Jesus did it, John the Baptist did it and others.
24:30Now we're going to give you some key point over it on how to do effective prayer and
24:34you can cater it to your needs, right?
24:37This is not, this is a model.
24:39This is not a requirement as such, like you're forced into it.
24:43It's between you and God in your relationship, right?
24:46The first one is this, effective prayer begins with directing our hearts to the Father in
24:53Jesus name.
24:54Now that one is a requirement.
24:55This approach helps us connect deeply and purposely in our conversation with God.
25:01Why?
25:02Let's read it.
25:03John chapter 14, verse 13 to 15 from the AMPC.
25:06John 14, 13 to 15, and I will do, I myself will grant whatever you ask in my name as
25:13presenting all that I am, so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in through the
25:19Son.
25:20Yes, I will grant, I myself will do for you whatever you shall ask in my name as presenting
25:27all that I am.
25:28And after listening to this verse, I'm sure all of you will be wise to say every prayer
25:33you do say, Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask.
25:37Next one, effective prayer must come from a sincere heart.
25:42You want to read Hebrews chapter 10, verse 22.
25:45All right.
25:46Hebrews 10, 22 in the Amplified Classic.
25:48Let us all come forward and draw near with true, honest, and sincere hearts in unqualified
25:55assurance and absolute conviction engendered by faith, by that leaning of the entire human
26:02personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in his power, wisdom, and goodness, having
26:10our hearts sprinkled and purified from a guilty, evil conscience, and our bodies cleansed
26:16with pure water.
26:18Amen.
26:19Now, next one is effective prayer holds an unhesitant submission to God's sovereign
26:27will.
26:28When we choose to submit to God, we open our hearts to the guidance of his Spirit, embracing
26:33his truth.
26:34Now, this allows us to engage actively in powerful prayer, like we spoke before, using
26:40his word, which also yield results that never return voice, because the word of God says
26:46his word is yes and amen.
26:50Let's confirm it by reading Proverbs chapter 3, verse 5 to 6.
26:54Proverbs 3, 5 to 6 in the Amplified Classic.
26:58Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind, and do
27:03not rely on your own insight or understanding.
27:09In all your ways, know, recognize, and acknowledge him, and he will direct and make straight
27:15and plain your paths.
27:17Amen.
27:18Next one, effective prayer must also be offered in faith.
27:23It's important to approach prayer with trust, as our faith is what pleases God, according
27:28to the word of God, right?
27:29So when we pray, our belief demonstrates that we trust, he hears us, and has already
27:34began to answer our requests, right?
27:38So Hebrews chapter 11, verse 6 from the AMPC.
27:42Hebrews 11, 6, but without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to him.
27:48For whoever would come near to God must necessarily believe that God exists and that he is the
27:55rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek him out.
27:59Amen.
28:00Next one, effective prayer, I think that's the last one.
28:04Effective prayer must be accompanied with thanksgiving and praise.
28:10Now offering thanksgiving and praise in our prayer allow us to focus on God's goodness,
28:15power, and wisdom.
28:17It serve as a beautiful reminder for all he has done for us and reassures us that he's
28:23actively present in our lives.
28:26Now this practice not only deepens our gratitude, but also acknowledges his sovereignty over
28:31all things.
28:32That's why in the model of the prayer of our Father's prayer, it's like our Father in heaven,
28:38hallowed be thy name.
28:40And then it's finished for yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever,
28:44right?
28:45We're going to confirm that from Colossians chapter 3, verse 13 from the AMPC.
28:50Colossians 3, verse 17.
28:52Oh, sorry.
28:53Amplified classic, Colossians 3, verse 17.
28:56And whatever you do, no matter what it is in word or deed, do everything in the name
29:02of the Lord Jesus and in dependence upon his person, giving praise to God the Father through
29:09him.
29:10Now in today's study, we covered quite a bit.
29:15So in today's study, the power of prayer, embracing God's presence and authority, we
29:21covered many key points which fall within the major key points.
29:27We covered the importance of prayer, learning to pray.
29:31We covered praying in and with the spirit, reasons for unanswered prayer, and we covered
29:37effective prayer.
29:39So if you arrived late for the study, we encourage you to re-listen and study as we covered some
29:44very simple yet very powerful key points in relation to the power of prayer.
29:50In the powerful true words of Charles Pershing, if a church is to be what it ought to be for
29:55the purposes of God, we must train it in the holy art of prayer.
30:02And I would like to add that with a conclusive quote from Thomas Robinson, prayer is like
30:09the dove that Noah sent forth, which blessed him not only when it returned with an olive
30:17leaf in its mouth, but when it never returned at all.
30:20Think about that.
30:21Amen?
30:22Amen.
30:23All right.
30:24If you are new here, if this is the first time you're listening and you've never heard
30:31about the Christian God in this manner, this is not a coincidence.
30:35This is a divine appointment.
30:37I want to let you know that in God's word, it says in 1 John 5, 4 to 5, for whatever
30:43is born of God overcomes the world.
30:46This is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith.
30:50So where you put in your faith matters.
30:52Are you putting your faith in money?
30:53Are you putting your faith in your work?
30:55Are you putting your faith in the immigration process?
30:57Are you putting your faith in the government?
30:59Are you putting your faith in your parents?
31:01Where you put your faith matters.
31:05And it goes on to say the word of God, who is he who overcomes the world?
31:11But he who believes that Jesus is the son of God.
31:14Oh, George, there is Buddha, Jesus.
31:17Is it that?
31:18Oh, George, there is this Jesus.
31:20There is only one way, one truth and one life, and that is Jesus.
31:23I'm not being radical here.
31:25The truth is the truth.
31:27There is no your truth, my truth.
31:29That's all absolute nonsense.
31:30There is only one way, one truth and one life, and that is through Jesus Christ.
31:36His word goes on to say, it goes on to say John 3, 16 to 17, for God so loved the world,
31:44that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish,
31:49but have everlasting life.
31:50For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world,
31:55but that the world through him might be saved.
31:59So what do I have to do, George?
32:01Well, 1 John 1, 9 goes on to say very clearly, if we confess our sins,
32:06he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
32:13Oh, here it is, George, the word sin.
32:16You know, I'm as good as the guy next door.
32:18I'm as good as that person.
32:19I'm actually better than my parents ever were.
32:22You know, we don't get measured by other people.
32:28Jesus is our standard.
32:29And by Jesus's standard, we have all fallen short of the glory of God.
32:34We all deserve hell.
32:36But because of what Jesus done on that cross, he paid a big price for it.
32:41But it's a free gift to us.
32:42It's called grace.
32:44So what do you need to do?
32:45You confess with your mouth.
32:47Look, on the screen, it says very clearly, Romans 10, 9 to 10,
32:52that if you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus,
32:54and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
32:58For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness,
33:01and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
33:06And then he goes on to say, it doesn't finish there in Titus 3, verse 5,
33:09Ephesians 2, verse 8, Acts 1, verse 8, amongst others.
33:12Then he saves us.
33:13So you confess with your mouth out loud.
33:16You ask Jesus to become your Lord and Savior.
33:18You repent of your sins.
33:20And you choose to believe that God raised Jesus from the dead in your place.
33:25And now you are saved.
33:27You are washed clean.
33:28You are cleansed, as wide as known as the word of God tells us.
33:31But it doesn't end there.
33:33As I said, all these other verses down at the bottom says,
33:36then he saves us by grace through faith.
33:39The gift of God washing away our sins and giving us the new joy of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
33:45And you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.
33:48And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere.
33:53What is that?
33:55What that is, is called the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire.
34:02We call that in our circles, a baptism of Holy Spirit and fire.
34:07Is when we invite Holy Spirit, God himself, the very Spirit of God to come and live inside of you.
34:12You become the church.
34:13You become the synagogue.
34:14You become the temple of God.
34:15And he will dwell in you forever.
34:18He will guide you, protect you, correct you, comfort you.
34:22He will lead you through your life.
34:25And he comes bearing gifts.
34:26He comes bearing spiritual gifts that he wants to equip you, to empower you with.
34:31So that you learn throughout this life journey here on earth to be the,
34:37to not only be his ambassador, as his word says,
34:42but to fulfill the calling that he has upon your life.
34:44Every single one of us have a specific calling.
34:47Are you ready?
34:48We're going to pray for the baptism of Holy Spirit.
34:50If you haven't invited Jesus, do that right now.
34:53And we're going to invite Holy Spirit to come and baptize us.
34:56Amen?
34:57Amen.
34:58Let's do this.
34:58Do you want to do that?
34:59You do it.
35:00All right, Lord, I thank you right now.
35:02Holy Spirit, we are hungry and thirsty.
35:04As your word says, those that are hungry and thirsty shall be filled.
35:07Yes.
35:08So Lord, we invite you, Holy Spirit, come fill us afresh.
35:13A fresh baptism of your spirit and fire.
35:16Light up a fire in us that cannot be quenched.
35:18As your word says, that our God is a consuming fire.
35:21Come.
35:22Yes, Lord.
35:22Set us alight that the world will come and watch us burn for you.
35:25Yes, Lord.
35:26Lord, we speak revival.
35:28We declare revival in and through us.
35:31Yes, Lord.
35:31In the mighty name of Jesus.
35:33As it is in heaven, let it be here on earth.
35:36In and through us.
35:37For your glory, Jesus.
35:39Yes, Lord.
35:40Hallelujah.
35:42Hallelujah and amen.
35:45All right.
35:46Some of you may be experiencing some unusual symptoms.
35:52Don't worry.
35:53It's part of the baptism of Holy Spirit.
35:55Some of you may be talking this Jewish language.
35:58What am I saying?
36:01That's a holy language of God.
36:04It talks in the Bible about this, that it's a sign of the baptism of Holy Spirit.
36:09It's a good thing.
36:10So communicate in this language as often as you can.
36:15We spoke about it today.
36:16We spoke about eat the spirit, what it does to you.
36:20Also, some of you may be feeling a heat.
36:22Some of you felt like a whole massive weight just lifted off you.
36:25Like you've been unburdened by what was.
36:31I'll pray for you afterward.
36:34Anyways, all this has gone.
36:37That nonsense, it's gone, baby.
36:39Hallelujah.
36:40Hallelujah.
36:42So that's normal.
36:43Some of you feel like there's electricity.
36:48That must be a new thing.
36:49Electricity.
36:50Electricity running through your body or just a nice warmth or just a nice peace.
36:55It's the very presence of God.
36:57Embrace it.
36:59Enjoy it.
37:02And also get connected with the church.
37:03It's very important that you get connected in person with a church, a Bible-teaching,
37:08Holy Spirit-filled church wherever you are.
37:10If you can't, for whatever reason, if you're living in a country where there's
37:14very fearful, tyrannical overlords trying to stop you from doing that,
37:19there's always the internet.
37:20You can get connected with churches online.
37:23You can get connected with home fellowships online.
37:26There's always a way to do that.
37:28But it's very, very important that you do connect with a church.
37:32Remember, the church is not perfect.
37:33We are the body of Christ.
37:35Jesus Christ is perfect.
37:37Is your standard.
37:38Is your standard.
37:39Amen?
37:40Amen.
37:41God bless you.
37:41I encourage you to hang around.
37:43And also this brings us to our second part of the program, which we call...
37:47Before we go there, if you've been blessed by this,
37:52please check out all those places that we have lots of more materials.
37:57If you're in a church that needs help with materials and all that, please feel free.
38:01All right?
38:02These are free, right?
38:03Those places we have audios and all that, these are free.
38:10That's what she's talking about.
38:12These are free, right?
38:14She's not talking about the...
38:16What do you call it?
38:18Water fountain things.
38:20She's not talking about the...
38:21No, I'm not talking about those links up there, right?
38:25These are free.
38:26These.
38:26This is not free.
38:27Neither is she free.
38:28She's mine.
38:28She belongs to me forever.
38:32All jokes aside, these are their resources for the churches, for anybody who wants.
38:37And you can also share it.
38:39Send links.
38:40If you can't go out and evangelize,
38:42nowadays we are so blessed.
38:44We have technology.
38:45We have messages.
38:46We have WhatsApp.
38:47We have all those things that you can actually send a link.
38:50A link can bring a difference to someone's life.
38:53So share it.
38:54If you've been blessed by it, share it, right?
38:57Don't keep things for you.
38:58God has enough blessing for everybody to go forward, right?
39:03Amen.
39:03That's what I want to say.
39:04All right.
39:04This brings us to the collective, where we spend time with those that are watching,
39:08those that are listening, and we pray, prophesy, whatever Holy Spirit leads us to do.
39:13I encourage you, if you haven't already, to write down any of your specific prayer requests
39:17that you have, so that we can see them on the Facebook live chat section.
39:21And I encourage you to hang around as well, if this is your first time.
39:27And drop us a line.
39:28Let us know where you're from, where you saw us for the first time.
39:32It's encouraging for all of us.
39:35In Jesus name.
39:36Amen.
39:37All right.
39:38This brings us to the collective.
40:08Amen.
40:38Amen.
