00:00What's good? Slime Green Beats. This is an FO Studio Loops tutorial. We're going to construct
00:06a beat. We'll show you how to use loops in FO Studio 2021. And before we get started,
00:13check out the How to Mix Beats book brought to you by Slime Green Beats. This is available on Amazon,
00:18link in the description, and on our website as well. How to Mix Beats, that's our newest book.
00:26All right, so first we're going to drag in this loop. I got this day one loop here
00:33from the legendary Loop De Loops pack brought to you by Slime Green Beats,
00:37and that's available on our website as well. Loop De Loops day one, dragging this in.
00:44I put the BPM on here. We're going to stick with that 146 BPM, so we're actually going to adjust
00:48this, move this BPM up here to 146 before we drag this in. All right. Okay. Cool, cool, cool,
01:06cool. And we're going to make a track. So we have this loop.
01:13We're going to turn the loop volume down first of all. Oh man. Okay. Let's turn the
01:25loop volume down to like, let's see, let's put in the mixer first.
01:33Turn the volume down to like 40. Leave room for the rest of the track.
01:43And I always recommend turning the volume down here first in the channel rack.
01:51All right. Let's add like a filter on it.
01:59Fruity Love filter default. Let's add some reverb. Fruity Convolver.
02:05We can even try Gross Beats, which comes with, I think, the FL Studio Producer Edition.
02:36All right. Maybe we'll try that. Maybe not, but let's just start adding drums.
02:58All right. So I got my drums for FL Studio here. That's what I named my kit.
03:07We're going to the 2023 vibe. Bring it back. We just kind of like add drums at this point.
03:20Now that I think about it, this video is pretty much over. I mean, we all know how to make beats,
03:25right? You can detect the tempo of the BPM in case you want to figure out what the tempo of the
03:32loop is. You can go to detect tempo here. So I just like I'm double-clicking into the loop,
03:38left-clicking, right-click, detect tempo, 146 estimated. It's pretty accurate.
03:48Right. So that's pretty much it. And you just kind of like add sounds.
03:54To the beat, I'll just like do a basic demonstration.
03:59This gets kind of fast. Beat Butcher.
04:24So
04:39I'm using my computer keyboard, like literally my computer keyboard.
04:46I
04:51somehow managed to mess that up. All right, let's try that again.
05:17Lovely.
05:39All right.
05:46All right. Yeah. And we vibing. All the time I'm rhyming.
06:07Okay. Yeah. I mean, there's a lot more to beat making than what you just saw.
06:38But that's a basic demo of using loops in FL Studio 21. You can stretch loops if you want.
06:50I'll show you some stretch loops. Hit this thing here.
06:56Can stretch loops. So maybe we want it to be.
07:08You just want to like cut a loop off. Make sure you turn this off.
07:12You want to stretch it. Turn that on. Click this up here. Boom.
07:17That's it for this video, guys. Thank you for watching. Oh, yeah. To add loops to this part
07:23here, you're going to want to find the loop in your folders and then just like add it.
07:31So wherever your folder is, add it here. Select folder and it'll appear here.
07:36That's it for this video. Thank you guys for watching. Slag Green Beats. Peace out.
