00:00Hi there, a couple of fine days coming up as high pressure builds across the UK. We've
00:06not seen much high pressure recently, so this really will be a novelty. For the vast majority
00:11there will be areas of cloud and the thickest cloud will be across Scotland, especially
00:16central and northern Scotland. Here there will be some showers about, one or two showers
00:21elsewhere, but they'll be isolated. For the vast majority across England, Wales, Northern
00:25Ireland, it's dry, it's fine, sunny spells coming through, highs into the mid-20s, 27
00:32Celsius possible in the south-east, high teens across Scotland and Northern Ireland into
00:37the low-20s in one or two spots. Into the evening, any showers do disappear and then
00:42some fog patches form, along with an area of low cloud that comes in from the east,
00:47but it's a mild start to Thursday for many of us. A grey start, some mist around, any
00:53fog does lift quite quickly and the low cloud will tend to lift during the morning, bubble
00:58up into cumulus and stratocumulus once again. And it's a similar kind of day to Wednesday
01:03for the vast majority, it's fine, sunny spells, dry, but a few showers will form in one or
01:08two spots, especially across Scotland, perhaps Wales and the Midlands seeing an isolated
01:13shower or two, but for the vast majority it's fine. Temperatures up to 24, 26 Celsius in
01:18the south, we've got more humidity, but at the same time a bit more of a breeze, so those
01:23will counteract against each other. Into the evening on Thursday, sunny spells for the
01:28vast majority before the sun goes down, the showers tending to ease away, but something
01:35starting to make an appearance there towards the west, an area of rain associated with
01:41a weather front. Low pressure heading in ahead of that, we draw up some humidity, the humidity
01:45combined with low pressure will lead to some heavy rain, some thunderstorms and tightly
01:49panned isopars there, a bit of a search about this, however it is likely to lead to some
01:54strong winds in places. Wind warning now in force for Wales for Friday, more details on
01:59that online and on the app, but for now that's all from me, bye bye.
