00:00Good morning. It's a fine start for many southern areas but across the north
00:04there's a lot of wet weather to come through the rest of today. A weather
00:07front has moved in overnight bringing persistent rain to much of Northern
00:11Ireland, parts of western Scotland, north-western England through the day
00:15and parts of Wales and the south-west may see some of that rain later on. Ahead
00:19of it it will stay fairly dry, a bit more cloud around by the afternoon and
00:23certainly more of a breeze than yesterday. Despite the breeze though
00:27temperatures still climbing up to the mid-20s across eastern areas of England.
00:31A fresher field though arriving into the far north with temperatures dropping
00:35away into the mid-teens across western Scotland by the end of the day. Now this
00:40rain is going to spread its way south and eastwards into this evening pushing
00:44into southern areas of England, the southeast throughout the night
00:47as well and behind it that clearer and fresher weather will become more
00:51widespread. So a fresher night to come for much of Northern Ireland and Scotland
00:55clear skies and it should stay dry for the bulk of the UK as well throughout
00:59tonight. So temperatures will fall away a little lower with those clearer skies
01:0310 or 11 degrees in towns and cities will be in single figures rurally but
01:07potentially a slightly more mild night across the south and east where that
01:11rain does linger and it may take a little while to clear the far south and
01:15east. We could see a few showers breaking out in the wake of that weather front as
01:19well but once that does all clear away it's looking like a fairly fine and dry
01:23day throughout tomorrow. Plenty of sunny spells across the whole of the UK. Having
01:28said that though some showers will spread into the far north of Scotland
01:32through the afternoon and with a bit of a breeze here as well we're close to low
01:35pressure temperatures still in the mid-teens but across the south or many
01:40areas of England and Wales temperatures in the low 20s 24 or 25 again across the
01:46south and east. They're still feeling pretty warm despite the fresher air
01:49arriving and that fresher but sunny feel will continue as we head into the
01:54weekend. Low pressure is not too far away from the north but any wet weather will
01:58be restricted generally to northern areas with higher pressure dominating
02:01across the rest of the UK bringing sunny spells temperatures around average as
02:06well but we'll be giving you a full weekend update later on today on YouTube.
02:11See you again soon bye bye.
