We caught up with Gyspy at LAX Sunday ... and, we had to ask her about the Erik and Lyle Menendez who are serving life sentences for murdering their parents -- though their case is receiving renewed attention over evidence supporting the claims their dad sexually abused them.

00:00Well, the possibility of the Menendez brothers actually being released from prison is something
00:05that kind of hits close to home for Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who, of course, was in a very
00:10similar situation to what the Eric and Lyle are alleging they went through at home.
00:16Alleged abuse results in the killing of a parent.
00:19Very similar, right?
00:20Very similar cases.
00:21And so it makes sense to get her opinion on this.
00:25We actually got some video of a photo I ran into her at LAX and asked her what she thought
00:30about the case.
00:31Now, keep in mind, Gypsy is in her early 30s, I believe, so it's unlikely that she knew
00:37anything about the Menendez brothers.
00:39Probably not even born.
00:40Murder was in 89, so not even born.
00:41Unless she's seen a documentary since or even the Netflix series Monsters.
00:46But this is what she had to say.
00:47She did have some advice for them.
00:49If they are successful, you know, that their case is being reviewed and there is a possibility
00:55that they could get out if they change their conviction to voluntary manslaughter, then
00:59they've served enough time and they could walk free.
01:03That's what they want, and that's what a lot of people think they deserve.
01:07Here's what Gypsy had to say about their case.
01:09What advice would you have for them when they get out?
01:12You know, you've dealt with it, obviously.
01:14It's very difficult to come out of a world that has changed so much, even in the time
01:19that I've spent.
01:20So, I mean, reactivating is a difficult thing, so I would say take your time and, you know,
01:25adjust properly and get therapy, because you'll be in action for a whole day and age.
01:32And think about it, Charles.
01:33I mean, she did like eight-ish years, right, get therapy.
01:36I mean, they've been in for 30 plus years at this point, Eric and Lyle.
01:40So the, you know, the world has changed such in a drastic way.
01:43Totally.
01:44And obviously Gypsy Rose was huge, especially like on TikTok and with like the younger generation.
01:50But you'd think about the brothers when they got out.
01:52I mean, they would be famous across, you know, multiple generations.
01:55Basically, I feel like anywhere they go, they'd be stopped for photos.
01:59They're going to be offered definitely reality shows, appearance fees, all that kind of stuff.
02:04So regardless of just, you know, integrating back into society, they'd be integrating back
02:08into society being extremely famous people.
02:11That's a good point.
02:12Reality show offers the same way that Gypsy did and she has one now.
02:15Right, she became a big star and yeah, they're, I think, exponentially more famous.
02:19Now, I mean, the interesting, what's different though about their cases is Gypsy is not accused
02:24and was not convicted of actually being the person who killed her mother, whereas the
02:30brothers actually did it.
02:32So is there going to, would they get as warm a reception or is there as much sympathy for
02:38them as there would be, as there was for Gypsy?
02:40I don't know.
02:41We've talked about it a lot in the room.
02:42I mean, I think it would be kind of similar to, I know he got off, but OJ Simpson, where
02:47it'd be one of those things that regardless of whether or not you believe that the brothers
02:51should be out or they should be in jail, I think it's going to become one of those things
02:54that if you see them out, people are going to want to take photos with them so they can
02:58post them on Instagram.
02:59This is Vic from Chicago.
03:02Gypsy Rose giving advice to the Menendez brothers is like Casey Anthony starting a parenting
03:06podcast.
03:07I mean, I get it.
03:08If the abuse was real, it's awful, but unlocking the Menendez brothers is nasty work.
03:13It's setting a real bad precedent.
03:15You can get therapy behind bars because nobody's trying to see serial killers come out like
03:19Marvel movies.
03:20Wondering if BTK is going to be the summer hit of 2026.
03:23Sorry, man.
03:24Everybody doesn't get a rebrand.
03:25Yeah.
03:26Even though there's this sort of, feels like there's this push.
03:28There are a lot of people who feel that the Menendez brothers deserve to be in prison
03:32because of the premeditation of the murders of their parents.
03:38They're not serial killers, although in the Monsters series, they talk about the fact
03:43that people during the trial were likening them to serial killers.
03:47It's going to be really interesting to see how that all turns out, especially because
03:51it's an election year for the L.A. D.A., George Gascon.
03:56Right.
03:57And he's actually using this.
03:58He's mentioned the Menendez case also, so wow.
04:01We'll see how this turns out.
