00:07And now, finally, it's arrived and I'm here to collect it
00:11and to reveal to you exactly what spec I went for.

05:12So there's a bit of a story with these and the Visek pack as well.
05:16So originally when I got the allocation and the build slot,
05:19I was told that I couldn't have carbons or Visek.
05:21For some reason, there were supply issues.
05:23There was a supply issue, yeah.
05:24But I held off.
05:26I wasn't sure.
05:26It's like, should I just take the car?
05:28Then I can have it sooner.
05:29And it was a real tough decision for me.
05:31But I thought, you know, this is a car I want to keep for a long time.
05:34I want it the spec I want it.
05:36Definitely.
05:37So I waited.
05:37Unfortunately, the slot came up not too long after a couple of months.
05:40Yeah, it was only a few months after, wasn't it?
05:41Yeah.
05:41So I got that slot.
05:43So they delayed it a bit at first.
05:45But then it got further delayed for some other reasons due to the interior.
05:49Interior, a few bits and pieces.
05:51And a holiday at the German factory.
05:53Yeah, three week holiday.
05:54That didn't help things.
05:55No, but oh, wow.
05:58I think it's time to maybe check out the interior.

06:58The actual list price of this car, with options, is £222,000.

07:11And I'm not going to be paying for it with a bank transfer either.
07:14I'm going to be, obviously, using finance to pay for this car.
07:18I've come to Charles and Dean Finance.

07:22And we're going to work through my deal to find out what finance
07:25I'm going to be paying on the car each month.
07:28Tell me a little bit about your business.
07:29We specialise in tailoring funding products for specialist cars.
07:33So some other finance providers, just generic ones, will use a price,
07:38which probably isn't reflective of the true future value of the car.
07:41Exactly.
07:41I mean, the GT3 RS is a great example of a car that's holding its value very well.
07:45It's very desirable.
07:46And we can, therefore, structure a deal that maximises that future value potential.
07:50We always want to try and strike a compromise between the cost of borrowing
07:54and your cash flow budget.
07:55So we need to ensure that we structure a deal, which is going to have to have
07:57a balloon payment in it, which is naturally going to increase the cost a bit.
08:01But it will ensure that we're within budget.
08:04So essentially, I've told you what I can afford.
08:06Your team, go away.
08:08Work out the best deal for me in my circumstances,
08:11taking into account the car, what I can afford per month,
08:14and getting me the lowest interest payments based on those parameters.
08:19Correct.
08:20That's why I came to these guys.
08:22It's like a bespoke service, like getting a suit tailored,
08:25especially for your own body, rather than just buying one off the peg.

13:06So, I've got my order form here.
13:08The cost options I've had fitted start with the Club Sport package
13:12with additional road legal fire extinguisher.
13:15And that was £135.
13:17And then I got the Vice package, £25,739.
13:22But it includes these, the magnesium wheels, carbon fibre roll cage,
13:26carbon fibre parts on the suspension.
13:28And you've got the exposed carbon fibre on the roof.
13:31Obviously, the Racetech's interior.
13:33What else have I got?
13:34So, I've got white rev counter, £245.
13:37Really pleased with that.
13:38Almost had it in yellow to match the yellow of the steering wheel and the yellow bits here.
13:43But white really just pings, doesn't it?
13:45And white sports chrono to match, £245 as well.
13:49Then I have Porsche logo LED door courtesy light.
13:53So, when you open the door, it's...
13:54Oh, I can see it, look!
13:55That cost me £101.
13:58OK, then we have the front axle lift system.
14:02Got quite a steep drive.
14:03Going to need that.

14:08Then the Porsche brakes.

14:15Tinted LED main headlamps with matrix beam.
14:17Top of the range lights which will blank out part of their beam
14:20when you've got oncoming drivers.
14:21So, at night, they are so good.
14:23They're awesome.
14:23I almost didn't expect them, but then I thought,
14:25paying all this money, why not?
14:27I really like them on press cars.

14:33Then I've got exclusive design taillights.
14:36I just think they look better with the GT silver,
14:39like the smoked taillights, rather than the red which you get as standard.

14:43And I've also, very important, a press car I had didn't have this.
14:48It didn't have a reversing camera.

14:55It's quite a lot, and it's not even surround, is it?
14:57Then I've had the light design package which was £354.
15:02So you get seven different colours of ambient lighting inside the car.

15:14Seatbelts in silver grey really do help lift the cabin.

15:21I almost went for like a leery interior, like a red one.

15:30But somehow this car still looks classy.

15:34These are the things that I think may have held up the car for a month or so.

16:04You never see them, but you know your feet on something better, a bit more expensive.

16:16So in total, I spent about £41,000 on optional extras on this car.
16:22Obviously, the main one, Vizak and Carbon Ceramics.
16:25But wow, really pleased with this spec.
