00:00In the face of the tense relationship between the Philippines and other countries,

00:04President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. thanked some nations that continue to help in various talks.

00:12This includes the giving of pardon to some Filipinos who were detained in the UAE.

00:23President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. thanked the United Arab Emirates

00:28for their assistance in the country, especially during the calamity.

00:31In a phone call, the President spoke to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed.

00:37The President introduced the humanitarian work of the UAE,

00:40especially in places affected by the typhoon and flood.

00:44The two leaders also discussed the placement of Filipinos in the UAE

00:48who have a large contribution to the labor force of the UAE.

00:51President R. Marcos Jr. also thanked the Emirati government

00:54following the giving of pardon to the 143 Filipinos

00:58who have a large contribution to their families.

01:02The President also gave the continued strengthening of the partnership of the two countries

01:06for the well-being of the Filipinos and the Emirati people.

01:10Meanwhile, the Philippines and Malaysia are more focused on cooperation and assistance,

01:14especially in the sector of education and disaster response.

01:22and Minister for Rural and Regional Development, Dr. Ahmad Zahid Bin Hamidi,

02:02He also mentioned the readiness of Malaysia to send to the Philippines

02:15Malaysia is the largest trading partner of the Philippines

02:19and the Philippines earned 8.15 Billion US Dollars from the negotiations in the so-called country.
