00:00I'm Jade Pascoe, I'm former councillor for this South and Dock Walls. I'm also the Chairman of the South East Cornwall Partnership and that includes 29 parishes.
00:13Every one of the residents in those 29 parishes have to use the Tamar crossings to get to hospital.
00:20Some of them to get to their employment and others for college and education.
00:25It's absolutely crucial that we don't have any further increases. It's very punitive to these people.
00:33It's a tax on their health and care and really it's so important that I'm here to be able to make a representation on their behalf.
00:43I think mainly we need to be here so that the government do acknowledge how important this crossing is to the people in South East Cornwall because we have to cross into Devon for our services.
