00:00At the present time, there are still two weather systems that are affecting our country.

00:05It is still expected to rain in some places.

00:07And there is a low-pressure area outside of the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

00:12If there will be a typhoon, let us know to Pag-asa Weather Forecaster Ana Cloren.

00:17Good morning, ma'am.

00:19Yes, ma'am. Good morning to all of us.

00:21Intertropical Conversion Zone is the one that is most affected now, especially in the Mindanao area.

00:26It will bring heavy rains, thunderstorms, and landslides to Zamboanga, Peninsula, Sub-Sargen, Banco Amoro, Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental, and Davao del Sur.

00:37For those of us who are here in Metro Manila, as well as in other parts of our country,

00:42there will continue to be severe weather events.

00:45But by afternoon and evening, we can already expect heavy rains due to localized thunderstorms.

00:53In Pagtaya, we can see that there is a low-pressure area.

00:58At the moment, the LPA is still around 2,040 kilometers away from Silaanang Kabisayaan.

01:04And there is no direct effect to our country.

01:07But as we can see, by next week, we can expect severe weather events.

01:13Because Intertropical Conversion Zone is active, it is possible that LPA will develop and become a typhoon by next week.

01:21So we will continue to monitor the updates that are coming out of Pag-asa.

01:25And for the next three days, we expect that in Visayas and Mindanao, by Monday,

01:33we expect that there will be heavy rains due to the Intertropical Conversion Zone.

01:39But over the weekend, even here in Metro Manila and the rest of the country,

01:43it is expected that there will be severe weather events.

01:45Be prepared for the possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
