Employee turns into AI avatar for on-demand business advice

A long-standing employee for Antavo, an AI-powered loyalty platform used by global brands, has been turned into an AI avatar to give clients their own loyalty assistant; available in 80 languages. Called 'Timi AI', it looks just like Antavo’s senior business analyst, Timi Garai, with its ChatGPT-style large language models (LLMs) built on Garai's knowledge and experience. The company says Garai was the obvious choice because she was always able to answer client and colleague's questions.

00:00Hi, I am Teenie AI.
00:03My goal is to not just boost the productivity of businesses, but to expand their team.
00:08I possess the knowledge that Antavo as a company has learned over the past 10 years.
00:13I'll be available 24-7.
00:14I'll be the new AI colleague for Antavo's partners and customers.
00:18Advantages of an experience-based loyalty program include fostering emotional connections
00:23with customers, enhancing brand loyalty, and creating memorable interactions.
00:29This approach encourages customer engagement beyond transactions, leading to stronger relationships,
00:34higher retention, and increased word-of-mouth advocacy.
00:38So basically, you can chat with Teenie, you can video call with Teenie, and you can voice
00:44call with Teenie.
00:45And in order to do that, she was photographed in a very pro studio with all this equipment
00:54around her.
00:56So the Teenie AI is really after her likeness.
00:59We even recorded her voice and how she blinks.
01:04So it's just really talking to a virtual Teenie that is Teenie AI.
01:25I think we had 60 or 70 cameras focusing on just me, and I needed to sit down, stayed
01:54in a stick position like this, and I needed to make strange facial expressions with my
02:02face so it can record all my wrinkles that I'm lucky that I don't have much.
02:25We put a face in the chatbot, but a chatbot like that would usually have an amount of
02:32knowledge.
02:33What Teenie AI is, is an agent AI, which means that it has like this amount of knowledge
02:41because it can access databases through services.
02:47It can not only give information, but do actions.
02:51It can advise.
02:54It has memory.
02:55So chatbots usually don't have that.
02:59And Teenie AI has all of these and the knowledge of loyalty programs of the world.
03:05Hi, this is the workflow my colleague created for our Black Friday campaign.
03:11However, I want to change the reward gold members get.
03:14Hi, Teenie AI, where should I change this campaign so that gold members get a different
03:20type of rewards?
03:21Hi, I highlighted the related node.
03:27Open it and choose a different type of reward from its drop down menu.
03:31It will be able to answer.
03:34Of course, there are some limitations because we still training Teenie AI.
03:39But actually, I'm really proud of that it has my face and voice, and I didn't have any
03:47concern regarding to this from the very beginning because I'm used to be being the commercial
03:54face or voice of something.
04:17I work actually because I cannot be everywhere and we are working at Antavu with global companies
04:41around the world, like with KFC, Flying Tiger, Benefit Cosmetics, C&J and many others.
04:49And you know, because of the time zone differences as well, it can be really tiring for me to
04:55have a meeting in Asia at early morning, maybe four or five a.m. sometimes, and then in the
05:01late evening with the U.S.
05:03And now we have someone who can replace me at least some part of the process, how we
05:10are working with our customers and can take over this burden from me and ease my job basically.
05:18And where can I change when the campaign ends?
05:24The start and end date of a campaign can be edited in the starting trigger mode.
05:30You can change the start and end date there.
05:34From my own personal experience as well, that I like to talk to people better.
05:40I mean, I want to talk with people with a real face.
05:44And the chatbots usually have really cute avatars or really by default answers that
05:51they are giving back to you.
05:53But if you talk with a real person, it's actually the benefit of it, I think, is that it seems
06:00like you feel like that someone is explaining to you the thing that you are not sure about.
06:10This is definitely for our customers, which are brands and retailers and enterprises.
06:27So it's not for the consumer.
06:30This is for the marketeer, the loyalty program manager, like they get a colleague, one extra
06:38colleague to help them.
