00:00What's up guys, we are back with another battery drain test, how to request to do the PUBG battery
00:07drain test for the Note 10 Plus, the Note 20 Ultra, and the S22 Ultra.
00:12All of these phones are running Android 12 on them, so I want to see like how much can
00:18we get.
00:19If we are an extreme gamer, you know, how much battery life can we get on these phones.
00:26So be sure to leave a thumbs up if you guys like these type of videos, let's go ahead
00:31and get started.
00:32We are going to max brightness out, and so how I decided to do the resolution since,
00:41you know, the Note 20 Ultra only runs in 120Hz at 1080p, I just went 1080p on the S22 Ultra
00:48120Hz, and then of course, you guys know the Note 10 Plus does not have 120Hz, so I just
00:54went with the 60Hz, right.
00:56So all of these are at 1080p, guys.
01:00Alright, let's go ahead and make sure that we are going to play on the same exact settings
01:09here.
01:10It should be HDR extreme, that's what we are going to play at, HDR extreme.
01:20And let's see what we get here, alright.
01:23All of these are capable of playing HDR extreme, I don't know what's up with this one, I think
01:35the Note froze or something.
01:40Okay, and we are HDR extreme.
01:47Alright, so let's go ahead and just hop into a game real quick, and we are just going to
01:53keep this going, see like, also, one thing that I am going to be monitoring here is heat,
01:59so all of these are the Snapdragon variants, guys, so we do have the 8 Gen 1, the 865,
02:08and then the 855 here.
02:11So I am really curious to see how well these guys do here.
02:18Alright, so we are going to come back in like an hour, just going to keep on letting them
02:26run, keep on letting them play, try to monitor, definitely monitor the heat on these things.
02:33Because I think once you get to like 30 minutes to an hour, these things definitely start
02:38to heat up, especially the 8 Gen 1, I want to see that big difference.
02:41855 and 865 are actually relatively somewhat cool, so we are just going to have to see
02:48there.
02:49Alright guys, we are at the 43 minute mark here, on the S22 Ultra, we are at 86%, with
02:55the Note we are at 83%, and then with the Note 10, we are actually at 85% here.
03:02So wow, the Note 20 Ultra is in the last place for right now.
03:07As far as like the heat is concerned, S22 Ultra is definitely warm, it's not really
03:13that hot, but it's definitely warm.
03:16Let's see, the Note, it's actually about the same.
03:26And then we got the Note 10 Plus, and yeah, just like I thought, this is actually the
03:31coolest device here, it's really not even, it's really not even that warm at all actually.
03:36Surprisingly.
03:41Yeah, it's the coolest device.
03:44So that 855 chip is just really, really efficient here.
03:49But yeah, so far, 44 minutes, not looking too bad.
03:54So it looks like these might go for around 4 hours, if these get up to 5 hours, I think
04:00that'll be pretty good, if these are able to get up to 5 hours screen on time.
04:08But we're just gonna keep on going here, see what we get.
04:14Alright guys, we're at the hour 35 minute mark here, we're on 71% on the S22 Ultra,
04:2066% on the Note 20 Ultra, and 67% on the Note 10 Plus here.
04:27So pretty much, you know, even on the Note 20 Ultra, the S22 Ultra doing pretty good.
04:33Like I said, it got a couple updates, and I even noticed like a better battery with
04:39this phone in general here.
04:42As far as heat goes, Note 10 Plus, it still feels like, I mean it's barely, I mean it's
04:48warm but it's like, it's nowhere near, yeah it's nowhere near as hot.
04:56The Note 20 is not really that, yeah, but this is still, it's way hotter than the Note
05:0310 Plus, and the S22 Ultra, it's just like warm around the whole phone.
05:10Usually there's like certain parts where the phone would be warm, like typically like right
05:14here, but this thing is just, this is just hot, it's just warm, it's not hot but it's
05:19just warm everywhere.
05:21So far performance on these phones, I haven't seen a hit in performance at all on any of
05:27these devices here, so that's good.
05:33They've consistently been at 60 frames, like they're all playing really smoothly, they're
05:40all very consistent here in terms of frames, even the Note 10 Plus with the weakest processor
05:46here is still playing at very good frame rates here.
05:53So yeah guys, we'll keep it going and see what we get here, we'll come back, just let
06:00these keep going.
06:01Alright guys, we're pretty much at the three hour mark here, and let's go ahead and check
06:07on the battery here, we're at the 46% on the S22, 38% on the Note 20, and then 38% also
06:15on the Note 10 Plus here, so it's looking like we should get up to that four hours of
06:23screen on time, which is about right.
06:27Like I said, it would be crazy if these were able to do five hours of just straight gaming,
06:34but I've been impressed with consistency and the frame rates and everything like that,
06:37so that has been really nice, but let's go ahead and just keep it going here and see
06:43how long we can get.
06:44Alright guys, we're at the four hour mark, and it looks like we are 28% on the S22 Ultra,
06:5015% on the Note 20, and then we are also 15% on the Note 10 Plus here, so I don't know,
06:59I guess that's a pretty, somewhat of a decent gap here.
07:03Like I said, the S22 Ultra, when it first came out, we did a battery drain test, and
07:08it was pretty much on par with the Note 10 Plus, it didn't have this big of a gap, but
07:14now, as we see with some few updates, you know, I guess the phone does sort of learn
07:20how to use it, but it doesn't really matter if you're just playing PUBG, but a few updates
07:23later, yeah, we're getting a slightly better battery life on the S22 Ultra.
07:30Now it's looking like the Note 20 and Note 10 Plus, it's looking like it'll do around
07:37four hours and 30 minutes, we'll see if it actually gets there, but it should definitely
07:41get there.
07:42So the S22 Ultra is looking like it should get all the way to five hours of screen-on
07:47time, it might.
07:49So let's just go ahead and keep this going here.
07:52All right guys, so the Note 10 just died at the four hour, 32 minute mark here, the Note
07:5820 Ultra is still going at 2% here, and then we have the S22, it is 18%.
08:10So yeah, it looks like the Note 20 and the Note 10 Plus will get around four hours and
08:1730 minutes of just straight up gaming here.
08:23Guys the Note 20 Ultra is done at the four hour, 34 minute mark, we still got a pretty
08:33good amount of battery life on the S22 Ultra here.
08:39So I didn't think it was going to get to the five hours, but it looks like it will.
08:43All right guys, and that is it, my S22 Ultra just died at the five hour, 14 minute mark
08:52here.
08:54So yeah, so you do get slightly, you know, a little bit better battery life on the S22
08:58Ultra, really was not expecting that at all.
09:02I thought it was going to be somewhat on par with the Note 10 Plus, but it actually is
09:06slightly better after these updates.
09:08So be sure to let me know what do you guys think, and I'll catch you guys in the next
09:11one.
