00:00What's up guys, today we're going to be unboxing the Xiaomi 14T Pro.
00:04This is the Titan Black, 12GB RAM, 1TB.
00:08Really excited to check this one out.
00:10And yeah, let's go ahead and get into it guys.
00:13So this phone is kind of expensive now.
00:17So it's $871 from what I saw on Xiaomi's website.
00:21It converts to a USD, it came out to $871 here.
00:26So it's up there with basically flagship phones I would say.
00:30It's like up there with, what's something like that?
00:34iPhone 16 I guess, an S24, phones like that.
00:38Kind of like those base model flagships.
00:41So let's see what we got here.
00:43So we got some paperwork it looks like.
00:48SIM tool, we get a USB type C.
00:53And we also get a case, soft case.
01:00Very nice, it's always nice to have a case in the box.
01:05Just in case you haven't decided on which case you're actually going to get.
01:10And it looks like there is no charger in the box.
01:15Yeah, so they actually did take the charger out of the box.
01:18I'm not sure what possessed them to take the charger out of the box.
01:22I always give them credit for putting the charger in the box.
01:26Alright, so I guess they kind of went the way of
01:29Apple and Google and Samsung and everybody else.
01:33I'm not sure, it could just be for like maybe they just started doing this
01:37or maybe the standard 14 comes with the charger in the box.
01:42But as you guys can see just some specs right here.
01:45There's some AI stuff now.
01:47Media tag Dimensity 9300 plus 144 AI display.
01:53It does have up to 120 watt charging.
01:56And then this does have wireless charging now.
01:58They still have the collaboration with Lycia as well too.

02:04This feels way more premium here.
02:07This does feel way more premium and way beefier as well.
02:11It just feels extremely solid now.
02:14It doesn't have those plastic sides on here.
02:16It's just a full glass and metal phone.
02:18I mean for this price it better be right.
02:21It's a flagship phone at this point.
02:23So yeah, aluminum frame.
02:25IP68 dust and water resistant as well too.
02:28And just feels really nice.
02:31Flat sides on here.
02:33There's a textured power button.
02:35Absolutely love that.
02:36Let's get this guy booted up and see what else we got.
02:42Everything is just pretty standard.
02:43How are you guys feeling about these cameras?
02:45Pretty solid looking cameras on here.
02:48Really like the design as well.
02:53So let's get this booted up.
02:55Alright, so let's talk about this display here.
02:58So this is a very nice display with pretty thin bezels on here as you guys can see.
03:03Very nicely almost kind of even around the entire phone here.
03:08So we are rocking a 6.67 inch AMOLED display.
03:12It does have Dolby Vision HDR10+.
03:14It gets up to 4000 nits peak brightness which is crazy.
03:18Unfortunately it's raining so I couldn't take it out and see like how actually bright it gets.
03:23But this thing is going to get crazy bright.
03:26Then you also do have on here 446 for the PPI.
03:31So it's a very sharp display.
03:33And then it's 1220 by 2712 for the resolution as well.
03:37So again, very, very nice looking panel here.
03:40No problems at all.
03:42And this panel is actually again 144 hertz.
03:46So it's super, super smooth when it comes to animations and everything.
03:51And by the way, Xiaomi's animations now are really nice looking.
03:56I really like how they are doing the animation.
03:58I think one of my favorite things here is actually how they do this right here.
04:03Absolutely love it.
04:05But overall, the display on here is beautiful, right?
04:09There's also some AI image engine stuff that you can take advantage of.
04:13So you can do the AI HDR enhancement which will give you a little bit more detail.
04:19And then also the MEMC so it'll just kind of smoothen frames and stuff like that as you can see right there.
04:27So there are a bit, you'll see a lot of AI stuff in the future.
04:33And right now with this phone with the Google Gemini is on here.
04:37Baked in here, circle to search and all that stuff will be here.
04:42And you'll just see more and more throughout the years.
04:45So let's talk about this processor here and the specs.
04:48So again, Android 14 Hyper OS.
04:51We can of course play PUBG here at 120 frames.
04:56So this makes for an excellent gaming device as well too.
04:59So we have the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset on here.
05:05Which has been doing a really good job with just my, you know, just setting up, running some benchmarks and stuff like that.
05:11Just playing a few games.
05:13It's doing a good job. There's no heating problems.
05:17This is pretty much on par with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
05:22And it's just a pretty good gaming experience.
05:26So it kind of reminds me, this phone just in general is kind of reminding me of a bigger Xiaomi 14.
05:33But you can definitely game on this thing, no problem, of course, for this price point.
05:40So that's what it's kind of reminding me of.
05:43Now here are the Geekbench scores that I got here.
05:45So you can see, similar to the S24 Ultra.
05:48I've seen scores a little bit higher for the multi-core.
05:51Every time I run Geekbench, I get the wrong scores.
05:56But as you guys can see, again, pretty much on par with an S24 Ultra.
06:02It's in that category.
06:04But yeah, this phone is super, super snappy when it comes to just speed and flying in and out of applications.
06:11And it'll just be a really fast phone for doing all the AI stuff as well too.
06:16I've had no issues with the skin.
06:19Some people love Xiaomi skin, some people hate it.
06:21It just comes down to your preference here.
06:25But overall, very, very fast phone.
06:27Let's see how these stereo speakers are sounding.
06:49They sound decent.
06:51They sound okay, definitely not bad.
06:53Decent bass overall.
06:56Pretty decent sound quality.
06:59I don't think anything really stands out about the speakers.
07:01Now this phone does have an IR blaster, which is something that I absolutely love about Xiaomi devices.
07:07Being able to control TVs and appliances and stuff with this.
07:12So it's really awesome that this phone has it.
07:15So let's talk about these cameras.
07:17So my first impressions of the camera.
07:19So you do have a 50 megapixel standard camera, 50 megapixel telephoto.
07:25And this does go all the way up to 30x zoom.
07:30And then you also have on here the AK30 video.
07:34You can also shoot in 4K60 with a 32 megapixel selfie that can shoot in 4K30.
07:40And the pictures came out really, really good on this device.
07:44I really like the colors and it did a fantastic job in low light.
07:48Giving you really good image quality on here.
07:51Even the 30x zoom did a pretty good job here.
07:54But as you can see today, it's not really that sunny outside.
07:57But it still did an excellent job with the colors and stuff.
08:01Everything just looked really, really nice.
08:03Great dynamic range.
08:04Great detail with the cameras.
08:07Absolutely fantastic cameras.
08:10The video also is pretty solid on here.
08:12I didn't have an issue with it.
08:14So let me know what you guys think of the video quality.
08:17And yeah, absolutely no issues.
08:20Like my first impression, I'll have to put it against some other phones so we can check it out a little bit more.
08:24But so far, I think these cameras look great.
08:27Alright, so let's talk about the battery situation going on here.
08:30So we should get some pretty good battery life out of here.
08:335,000 milliamp hour battery.
08:35We do have 120 watt charging on here.
08:38Again, RIP the charger in the box.
08:41And then we also have 50 watt wireless charging as well, which will get you to 100% in 45 minutes.
08:47So that's pretty nice.
08:49And overall, this was a pretty nice device just for my first impressions here.
08:55Like I said, just pretty much reminds me of a bigger Xiaomi 14, honestly.
