01:54All right, guys, we are in and first impressions is it's actually a pretty smooth
01:59Uh phone for the most part. I think samsung's xenos processors have actually come a long way
02:05Because it used to be that these phones are were kind of like laggy a little bit
02:11And i'm noticing like very minimal lag here. So that's really good
02:14For the most part even in the google now page. This is still super smooth
02:18So I think thanks to one ui and then samsung making the xenos processors a little bit better here
02:24But let's go ahead and jump into the display here
02:28so this display
02:30It is a pretty decent display for the most part. It's a super amoled display and it is actually
02:37120 hertz as well, too
02:39And it is a thousand nits for the peak brightness, which I think is actually pretty good for a budget phone
02:44And then there's a 6.5 inch display. It's 1080p 396 for the ppi
02:49Actually, really really good specs. The display is actually pretty sharp. There's no discoloration
02:54Viewing angles are really nice. I'm telling you like these budget phones like maybe four or five years ago, man
03:01It was nothing close to this in terms of quality for these displays. But as you can see, there's a huge huge
03:08Bezel right here. I mean that's just crazy. And then we do have the old school wire drop notch here
03:15And again, this is what I expect for, you know, this price point which is is perfectly fine, right?
03:20And um the display quality is it's really good guys. I can't really
03:25Knock anything about the display even outdoors when I was taking pictures. I could still see everything
03:30It was still bright enough. So I think the display on here is actually fairly good for the most part 120 hertz super smooth on here
03:38So i'm actually really digging the display again, you know, i'm not going to pick at the
03:42Obvious stuff because it is a budget phone, right?
03:46Let's talk about these specs a little bit more here. So the xenos processor
03:50This is what it scored at with android 14 when you buy six
03:54This is the xenos 1280 and it is the mali g68 gpu again micro sd card support
04:00Which is actually a big thing for a lot of people and then 128 gigs of internal storage and six gigs of ram here
04:06You can see that single and multi-core score. You kind of see where it compares to which
04:11It's kind of on par with like the poco x3 pro as you can see from single core

04:19Yeah, you can see but the poco is just way faster in the a52. Yeah, so

05:29And the graphics don't really look all that great but you know for somebody who just does not care about gaming
05:37Like if you come in here you can you can absolutely play a match if you're just trying to kill some time
05:43But competitively, no, I would definitely go with all with their flagship. I don't think there's any reason to
05:49to get this phone
05:51for gaming
05:53But for for uh, let me turn this down for casual stuff like subway surf
05:58It was actually doing really good with that. So like little casual games that don't
06:02You know demand too much gpu cpu power. You can definitely get away
06:08With getting a phone like this
06:12But i'm sure like I don't have to stress it as well too with multitasking and stuff like that and see how
06:17This processor handles it
06:19But so far for gaming it's exactly what I would expect it's pretty much
06:24below average

06:29We've got everything in here. It's very basic stuff. It looks like we're, you know, we don't have any of that, you know flagship stuff
06:38It's just your basic toggles for in the most part
06:46Yeah, so everything is um
06:49You know, it's pretty
06:51Much like the basic version of one ui
06:54Which is not bad. It's it's actually i'm just happy that it's it's pretty smooth actually. Let's test out the speaker at max volume

07:21The speakers actually sound very good actually really really good actually
07:31Yeah, I really like the speaker quality it's loud
07:34The top speaker is pretty loud. It doesn't sound bad. It sounds better than the
07:38The one plus 12 r that we had. Uh, these speakers sound really good. So i'm actually pretty impressed with that
07:45Uh, the fingerprint scanner situation, it's the physical one and I think it's just awesome
07:49I wish they would put these in the flagship phones or the mid-range phones
07:53I think this is just a way better way to get into your phone. It feels way more natural
07:59To me at least like it might not it might not feel as luxury as the in-display one
08:04But I mean this one just feels natural just to get in your phone like this. Absolutely. I love it. It's really fast, too
08:12all right, so let's check out the cameras and
08:14You have a 50 megapixel main lens on here, which is really nice
08:18And then you also have an 8 megapixel ultra wide. It's got the 2 megapixel macro
08:23It shoots in 4k 30 and then you have a 13 megapixel selfie cam that shoots in 1080 30
08:30All right. So basically the shots on here. Well before we get to shots, let me walk you through the uh actual
08:36You know modes. There's a fun mode on here
08:40You know with the filters your video
08:44And then your food your promo your macro mode, let's actually take a
08:50Little macro shot here
08:53See how close it gets pretty close actually
08:57um, but yeah, those are your your modes for uh, the most part here, so
09:02The photos themselves are actually pretty decent. I actually was not you know
09:08That disappointed with the photo quality and some of it kind of surprised me in really good lighting
09:13Uh, like my indoor shots if I wonder like the really good lighting I was pretty impressed

09:19yeah, the shots were not bad at all, but I could definitely tell the difference between like this and
09:25you know a
09:27Older flagship I can tell the dynamic range isn't as good
09:30The detail when you're zooming in you're gonna lose quite a bit of detail
09:34Uh color sometimes can be a little bit off
09:37The zoom shots are virtually, you know, not there but
09:41Standard stills. I actually I mean you can't look at this and say these aren't decent photos
09:45Um, so yeah, I actually really like the cameras the video was somewhat solid
09:50As well to again the same issue like in dynamic range and then with these phones, you know
09:54You kind of take them out of any good lighting situation. Uh, they can kind of become a little bit soft as well, too
10:00Um, but overall I was I was actually pretty impressed. I thought it did way better than I was expecting it to
10:07Um, now lastly this phone has a
10:1125 watt
10:12Charging speed on it
10:14And um, it's got a 5000 milliamp hour battery and I suspect that battery life is going to be really good on here again
10:20I haven't been really using it for that much longer, you know that long but
10:25I think battery life is going to be solid on here
10:28so overall with this phone
10:30I'm, pretty impressed with it what I recommended over no flagship
10:34No, but what I recommended to somebody who just refuses to buy an old flagship you want something new you want a headphone jack

10:48Honestly, you can probably i'm gonna do that comparison for you guys because this phone is kind of awkward to me because the the a34
