00:00As for the preparation of the Bantanang Bagyong Christine in Bicol, different steps and assistance are being prepared for the residents.

00:14Various government agencies and local governments are preparing the possible Bantanang Bagyong Christine in Bicol.

00:22The Office of the Civil Defense of Bicol has raised the RDRRMC Bicol Emergency Operations Center's red alert status earlier this morning.

00:31The coordination of the OCT Bicol is tight in the government areas, particularly in the families that need to be evacuated if the weather worsens.

00:41The Department of Agriculture of Bicol is also reminding farmers of the possible effects of the storm on the agriculture sector.

00:50The Department of Agriculture has ordered to reduce the production of rice and corn if it is within 85 percent of the crop.

00:57The agency has provided them with combined harvesters that can be used by farmers in the production of rice.

01:05The DAP of Bicol is recommending that the farming should be suspended until the storm subsides.

01:12The relief assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development of Bicol is ready for more than P242 million pesos.

01:20This is for the affected areas of Bicol, as well as the 2,130 evacuation centers in the Bicol region.

01:28The Coast Guard District of Bicol assured the readiness of their deployable response group,

01:34where they will provide assistance to the local governments if necessary.

01:39A total of 28 floating assets from stations and substations are now on standby.

01:45According to the OCDB of Bicol, more than 1,000 passengers have been stranded in various areas of the region,

01:52which were immediately received assistance from the DSWB of Bicol.

01:55The MDRMO of various local governments has been alerted for monitoring of river channels connected to the Mayon Volcano.

02:03The condition of the river channels remains normal and there is no sudden flooding.

02:09For now, the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 is in effect in the province of Albay.

02:14The weather here is still gloomy, while heavy rains are also experienced.

02:19According to the latest forecast, it is expected that the Christine typhoon will start to rain in the entire Bicol region.
