00:19Fresh from the announcement, we have Poco's newest release.
00:22And before we move on, a special shout out to Poco for partnering with me on this video
00:27so that we're able to look at their newest release as early as now.
00:31The Poco M4 Pro 5G follows Poco's legacy of releasing good phones with even better prices.
00:38Let's see if this particular phone lives up to that.
00:41But first, let's unbox.
00:43We don't only have the phone, we also have this really big Poco box.
00:47So I'm curious to see what's inside.
00:49At the bottom, everything you need, nothing you don't.
00:52Oh, we have a nice little letter.
00:59Let's check out the first box.
01:01This is really cute.
01:04That's such an adorable little figure.
01:07I sort of don't want to open it because it just looks so nice in box.
01:12So I'm gonna leave it like this.

01:34Right, it's phone time.
01:40Poco M4 Pro 5G connectivity.
01:43We have the same branding on the sides with easy access to the Google apps you use most.
01:48And we have the same thing on the other side.
01:50At the bottom, this shows us that I have the Poco M4 Pro 5G in blue
01:56with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

02:08We have some Poco stickers, all the paperwork.
02:12We also have this really nice jelly case.
02:15We have the phone, but let's see what else is in the box first.

02:28So the Poco M4 Pro 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity A10 with dual 5G,
02:3433W Pro fast charging with 5000mAh power battery.
02:38You also have a 90Hz dynamic switch dot display,
02:42dual speakers, and also a 50MP AI main camera.
02:47And a 16MP selfie camera.
02:52Oh, this is looking like a really good looking phone.

02:59Texture on this is unbelievable.
03:04That is a matte back, so that means no fingerprints.
03:08I love how the light is shining off of this.
03:12Almost like it's glowing.
03:13You have this Poco M series look on the back.
03:16Poco designed by Poco.
03:18Cameras on there.
03:20And that is a very sleek camera bump.
03:23So on the right side, you have the volume button.
03:26You have the unlock button which doubles as a fingerprint scanner.
03:30Speakers, USB-C port, and for those who want it, audio jack.
03:34On the other side, you have a SIM tray.
03:37Let's check what it has.
03:38Nice, dual SIM.
03:40Up top, speakers, and that is an IR blaster.
03:44I really like the texture of the back of this phone.
03:46It's nice.
03:47Right, let's power it up.
03:48And in the meantime, you know what's coming.

04:15So the version that they sent me is blue.
04:16And I really like the look of it, especially that texture.
04:20I think this really looks good.
04:21And that matte back just means that there won't be any fingerprint smudges at all.
04:26This phone isn't as heavy, but it also isn't so light that it feels cheap.
04:31And it also comes in Poco yellow.
04:33So I personally just really like this blue.
04:35That black box on the back is such good branding.
04:38It certainly gives you that familiar Poco look.
04:42And for those of you who want a more low-key look,
04:44this phone also comes in black.
04:46There's a fingerprint scanner on the side that's pretty snappy.
04:50And there's also face unlock.
04:51For those who prefer wired listening, this has an audio jack as well.
04:56This thing also has an IR blaster,
04:58which is not a feature that we look for in phones when buying them specifically.
05:04But I always found them to be really useful.
05:06That just means that you can use your phone as a remote
05:09for older appliances that have IR blaster remotes.
05:13It's very convenient and it's a quick way to sort of
05:16use your phone to control your household without turning it smart.
05:20Also, this is NFC-enabled.
05:25That is a 6.6-inch Full HD Plus screen with a 90Hz refresh rate.
05:31And we'll look at how that screen looks in games later on in the video.
05:35Now, what's another cool thing about this screen
05:37is that it supports dynamic switch display.
05:39That just means this screen will automatically switch between 90Hz,
05:4360Hz, or 50Hz depending on what you're looking at the screen.
05:47And that also means that battery on this thing is used wisely.
05:52Basically, that means that you get a 90Hz display when it matters
05:56and you get your best battery life.
05:59Best of both worlds.
06:00There is a selfie punch hole in the middle.
06:02And this is a Gorilla Glass 3 screen.
06:05And finally, this is how your videos will look on the phone.
06:09And yes, this thing has dual speakers.

06:28this Pro Poco M3 has a new look and it's 5G-capable.
06:33What else do you get with this new phone?
06:35And what type of users might want to look at the Poco M3 Pro 5G as their phone?
06:42So this thing is powered by a MijiaTek A10 5G chip and it's 5G-enabled.
06:47It did fine for my social media browsing,
06:50everyday online tasks, and moderate multitasking.
06:53Of course, I also put it to the test with some games and here's what that looked like.

08:56That main camera is a 15-megapixel main camera on the back
09:00with an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera.
09:03Up front is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter in that punch hole.
09:07Of course, these are not the best cameras I've seen on a phone.
09:09But also, of course, you can't really expect flagship shooters on budget devices.
09:15Here are some shots so you can see for yourself.
09:17This is front-facing camera video and you can shoot in 1080p 30fps.
09:23Then you also have the cinematic movie mode with a front-facing camera.

10:21So this thing packs a 5000mAh battery.
10:39That's pretty good.
10:40Of course, I only just unboxed this phone so we'll put that to the test.
10:44But the fact that it is a 5000mAh phone, good thing.
10:48There's 32W fast charging and like you saw, you get a charging brick in box.
10:55So that was our look at the POCO M4 Pro 5G.
10:58POCO has been releasing all of these value for money power pack devices
11:02and it's looking like the POCO M4 Pro is not gonna be any different.
11:07At the time I'm shooting this, I don't have actual pricing of the POCO M4 Pro 5G
11:12but I am told that we can expect similar pricing as the previous POCO M3 Pro 5G.
