00:00The red alert status in Calabarzon was raised because of the continuous rainfall brought by Hurricane Cristina.

00:06Pre-emptive evacuations were also carried out in flood-prone areas.

00:18Calabarzon RV RRNC is calling on residents in places that may have been evacuated

00:25because of the severe effects of Hurricane Cristina.

00:29I know it's hard to evacuate and leave our homes,

00:32but there's a reason why I'm asking you to evacuate.

00:35Our goal is zero casualties.

00:37You can change your equipment, but you can't change your life.

00:41At the Office of Civil Defense, we don't want casualties.

00:45Of course, who wants casualties?

00:46And our goal is no one gets left behind.

00:48According to the Mines and Geosciences Bureau,

00:51more than 3,000 barangays in the region are expected to have floods or landslides.

00:56Around 8 a.m. this morning, the Red Alert Status was raised throughout the region

01:01indicating the highest level of preparedness for the region's Emergency Response Team.

01:07According to the DOST, according to the 11 a.m. Bulletin,

01:10the entire Calabarzon is below the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1.

01:15Pre-disaster risk assessment is being carried out by local governments

01:20as a preparation for the possible effects of Hurricane Cristina, especially in Quezon Province.

01:25Subsequently, all sea vehicles are suspended on behalf of the Philippine Coast Guard.

01:31There are 162 passengers, 5 sea vehicles, and 27 rolling cargos stranded

01:38on the shores of Rial, Patnanungan, Lucena, Cota, San Andres, Balanacan, Buyabod, and Salumague.

01:45The PCG is asking everyone to comply with all their announcements

01:50on when the sea vehicles will be allowed to sail.
