00:00The pre-emptive evacuation of the Cordillera Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Act will now take place.

00:05Particularly for those who live in dangerous areas,

00:18The Cordillera Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Punishment Council has ordered

00:23all local DRRM councils to implement the pre-emptive evacuation

00:28especially for those who live in dangerous areas

00:31as part of the preparation for the possible effects of the emergency.

00:34The council has also given its consent to the DILG's order

00:38to implement the forced evacuation in areas that are high risk of flooding,

00:43landslides, and other dangers.

00:46I urge the local chief executives

00:49to lead in the implementation of preparedness and response readiness activities

00:53in their respective localities.

00:56Remember that DRRM and public safety is our collective responsibility.

01:01Let us all help each other.

01:03At the same time, the DSWD is ensuring that the government is ready

01:08to provide immediate assistance to those affected by the flood.

01:12The agency has called for immediate evacuation if necessary.

01:16If you think that it's already dangerous,

01:19that the situation is not getting better, that the water level is rising,

01:22before the water level rises, we should evacuate.

01:25That is why we have always prepared evacuation centers.

01:30Meanwhile, the Municipal DRRM Office of Sabangan Mountain Province
