00:00The Department of Energy is taking steps to restore power amid the effects of severe
00:04tropical storm Christine. According to Energy Undersecretary Felix William Fuentabella,
00:10they are focusing on the situation in the Bicol region. He said the priority is the
00:15safe restoration of the electricity supply in the region, especially in severely flooded areas.
00:21The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines has reported their line crews are prepared
00:27to be deployed to restore power. According to the report of the National Electrification
00:32Administration, 86 electric cooperatives were affected by the weather disturbance.
00:57water facilities. They already have a genset that is being prepared.
