00:00The W of Welfare responds to an economic value and a social value, so it's a double value.
00:12There is an added value in Welfare, which is also a factor of competitiveness.
00:17We are talking a lot about ESG, because in ESG there is a full convergence between sustainability and competitiveness.
00:27And Welfare is an integral part, a fundamental part of ESG, because with Welfare you can deal with issues that have great social relevance.
00:40For example, I think about non-self-sufficiency, I also think about genitourality, assistance in the case of the use of nests, etc.
00:52There are a whole series of themes in Welfare that can help to deal with and solve problems today and tomorrow.
01:01Because non-self-sufficiency today is a problem that in twenty years, in a little while, will become a social plague.
01:09And we, as social parties, somehow, we have the responsibility to deal with those social problems and look for solutions before they become even bigger problems.
01:21We already have very important experiences in the national collective contract.
01:26In 2016, when we started a phase of renewal, it was not only renewal, but renewal, with important reforms.
01:35I think about training for all Metal Mechanics employees and I think about integrated health care, free for all workers and their families.
01:44So we have started a path and we think that Metal Mechanics must move forward.
01:51For this reason, in the confrontation with the trade union, we are putting on the table some issues, like the ones I said before, non-self-sufficiency,
02:02orienting Flexible Benefits towards ESG Welfare forms, which have social value, as I said, nesting, public transport, genitourality.
02:13And then the complementary preservation, which is another fundamental pillar.
02:17So we have started a path, there are good foundations, and on these we believe that we can and must continue to build.
