00:43While Jason and Freddy got to enjoy video game adaptations back when they first debuted,
00:48Ghostface didn't make his appearance until 2011.
00:51Yeah, Scream went a full 15 years without getting a video game adaptation, and the first
00:57one we got was a mobile game based on the fourth movie.
01:04Screeform lets players take control of Ghostface and run around Woodsboro claiming victims
01:10left and right.
01:11So long as you stayed out of the cop's sight, you could finish off your victims with a few
01:14simple swipes on your phone.
01:16Unfortunately, the game has been delisted for ages and will likely never return.
01:27Naughty Bear – Panic in Paradise
01:36Though Ghostface himself does not make an actual appearance here, Naughty still managed
01:40to pay tribute to one of the most iconic villains in horror.
01:43Shortly after launch, Panic in Paradise received a small collection of costumes based on Jason
01:48Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, Batman for some reason, and of course, Ghostface.
02:04The trailer for the Ghostface costume even recreated the opening scene from the first
02:08Scream movie.
02:10And yes, you can use the same knife as the notorious Woodsboro Killer.
02:19Terror Drome – Rise of the Boogeymen
02:33While this may not be an official game, Terror Drome is still a game worth mentioning here.
02:38Inspired by the brutal nature of Mortal Kombat, Terror Drome pits almost every horror mascot
02:44against each other in a fight to the death.
02:46Michael, Chucky, Ash Williams, and yes, even Ghostface.
02:51The crazed stalker even gets the honor of being the very first chapter in the game's
02:55story mode.
02:56Along with typical stabbing moves and leaps, Ghostface can cause stage lights to fall from
03:01the top of the screen, in addition to calling in a duplicate Ghostface to help him hold
03:05his foe in place.
03:11Dead by Daylight Ghostface's inclusion in Dead by Daylight
03:20was a bit of an odd occurrence on account of some legalities.
03:24Behavior Interactive was only allowed to use the mask, and had to make their own character,
03:29which is why we have Danny Johnson.
03:31Danny comes with the power to stalk his victims from the shadows, and if he stalks a survivor
03:36long enough, he can down them in a single hit.
03:39The only way to prevent this is to spot Danny and look at him long enough to pull him out
03:43of his night shroud.
03:44For the longest time, Danny was regarded as one of the best killers in the game, but after
03:48some reworks around 2023-2024, he's not as oppressive as he once was.
04:01Among Us
04:02In a sense, Among Us is a lot like Scream, friends getting together only to discover
04:06one of them is a cold-blooded killer.
04:22In 2022, developer InnerSloth announced a collaboration event where players could earn
04:27their very own Ghostface mask.
04:36It became one of the most sought-after cosmetics in the game until the event ended after a
04:41month.
04:42Ghostface returned to Among Us in 2023 as a means to promote the sixth movie, and this
04:46time, players could get a mask and a set of robes for their character.
04:50If you missed out on the second event, well, guess you'll have to cross your fingers
04:55for another event when Scream 7 finally arrives.
05:03Hitman – World of Assassination
05:05Okay, we might be cheating with this one, but the similarities are too on-the-nose to
05:18ignore.
05:19Unfortunately, Ghostface does not appear in 2016's Hitman nor its sequels.
05:30However, you can don a costume that is eerily similar in appearance.
05:38Agent 47 can wear a costume of a fictional character known as the Superfan, complete
05:44with a bloodied mask, white robes, and a face just as haunting as Ghostface.
05:49There are even two challenges associated with the costume, where you'll have to don the
05:53outfit and eliminate Craig Black, the author, in specific ways.
06:06Call of Duty – Black Ops – Cold War
06:12Call of Duty has seen a ton of strange crossovers, ones that would never come to mind when you
06:17think of a first-person military shooter.
06:20As part of the franchise's first Halloween event, The Haunting, Black Ops – Cold War
06:24added Ghostface as a new operator, and even included him as part of a limited-time game
06:30mode called Ghosts of Verdansk.
06:32Not only was he the announcer for the game mode, but if a player picked up one of the
06:36many phones scattered across the map, they would receive a special message from Ghostface
06:41depending on the operator they were playing as.
06:43On top of that, if a player reached a specific fear level, they were subjected to hallucinations
06:48of Ghostface, as well as various visuals and sound effects.
07:00Mortal Kombat 1
07:05At the time of this video, Ghostface is not available to play as just yet.
07:09However, his inclusion was known by most of the Mortal Kombat community before he was
07:14even revealed.
07:15In September 2023, a reputable leaker revealed that Ghostface and the T-1000 from the Terminator
07:21franchise were coming to Mortal Kombat 1 as part of Kombat Pack 2.
07:26Then, in June 2024, Mortal Kombat 1 was datamined and shown to have audio files of Roger L.
07:33Jackson using his voice for Ghostface.
07:36But in July 2024, we finally got official confirmation at his inclusion, and it looks
07:42like he'll have a second Ghostface helping him as an assist.
