00:00Are you working for Niche?
00:04Nah.
00:05After four years, Sarah's Niche living home is still unfinished.
00:13And now, another hurdle.
00:15After terminating her contract with Niche and finally getting her keys, Sarah's air
00:20conditioning unit was missing.
00:22So I don't know when it happened.
00:24The company told her she missed a payment and therefore didn't own the unit.
00:28It's beyond ridiculous, to be honest.
00:32Just a constant nightmare.
00:33And the nightmare seems to continue and continue with no end.
00:37So hopefully it will be ending soon.
00:40Niche Living lost its building registration earlier this month, so now it's up to the
00:44more than 200 customers to find new builders to finish their homes.
00:49But homeowners still had to terminate their contracts before Niche handed over the keys.
00:55They didn't say for sure that it's they who took it, but who else has the keys to the
01:01house at that point, because I haven't signed the termination then.
01:04Niche customer Abhishek noticed his oven was missing on Monday.
01:09It was later returned after he contacted the company.
01:13He's now changing his locks.
01:16I know they have legal rights to come into property until the contract is in place, but
01:21they have no ethical right because I've paid for it.
01:24The Premier wants police to investigate.
01:26Niche Living have to get out of the way.
01:28They have to leave these people to get on with their lives.
01:32That is the arrangement that we put in place and that is what I expect them to do.
01:36Niche Living has been contacted for comment.
