00:00Landslides were recorded in some parts of the Cordillera region due to the continuous rain.

00:06In the Ilocos region, six barangays were affected by the storm surge caused by Hurricane Christine.

00:14Janice Deniz of PTD Cordillera is at the center of the news.

00:19In the past 24 hours, 569 families have fled the Cordillera region due to Hurricane Christine.

00:30More than 1,500 residents of 52 barangays in Abra, Apayaw, Benguet, Ifugao, Calinga and Mountain Provinces were affected.

00:4231 houses were partially damaged.

00:46The majority fled Apayaw, Abra and Mountain Provinces due to flooding and landslides.

00:54The Department of Social Welfare and Development also provided assistance to the affected families.

01:02We have a total of food packs of 67,000.

01:06That's why we have a lot of food items available.

01:09We have 18,520 prepositions.

01:14In Apayaw, six roads were unable to pass due to landslides.

01:20A road in Ifugao was also closed to motorists due to landslides.

01:25The DPWH and contractors of the affected road sections are conducting a clearing operation.

01:34Meanwhile, in Sagada Mountain Province,

01:37the Municipal Tourism Office suspended all outdoor tours and spelunking in all caves for the safety of the public.

01:46The series of landslides in various roads in Natonin was also recorded.

01:52In Paracelis, the local government ordered a forced evacuation

01:58to the residents near Sipo and Amulong Rivers which are now at the Red Level.

02:04In Abra, various municipal government units were ordered to suspend all tourism and water-related activities

02:13including fishing as a precaution against the Christine Flood.

02:18The Office of Civil Defense emphasized to the public to be careful now that there is a flood.

02:25We contacted the Pre-Emptive Evacuation and Early Preparation.

02:30Because of these types of floods and calamities, we cannot control it.

02:37This is a natural phenomenon.

02:39Meanwhile, in Ilocos Region,

02:42six barangays were flooded in Lingayen, Pangasinan last night due to the storm surge caused by the Christine Flood.

02:50The storm surge was experienced from 8 o'clock to 9 o'clock last night.

02:55The level of water in Lingayen Baywalk also increased

02:59as soon as the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of the Evacuation of Affected Residents was established.

03:07In La Union, more than 200 families made up of more than 700 individuals were evacuated and affected by the Christine Flood.

03:17The Local Government of Food and Non-Food Items of the Affected Residents

03:23is now staying at the evacuation center.
