00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. promised to continue his assistance to the victims of the Christine earthquake until they recover.
00:07Here are the details on the national news of Clayzel Pardilla.
00:11President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. added additional aid to the victims of the Christine earthquake.
00:19Php 130 million was allocated for financial assistance to the provinces of Albay, Camarinesur, and Bayan ng Naga that were severely affected by the Christine earthquake.
00:32We have a system to help all the victims. And all of that is in place.
00:39Using the C-130, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sent aid from Metro Manila to the Bicol region.
00:46Satellite to have a communication line, generator set, and water filtration that will temporarily supply electricity and clean water.
00:55Toneto-stocked processed meat products and 1,000 boxes of canned goods arrived from private companies.
01:02In addition to this, 1,000 food packs and hygiene kits were distributed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
01:09Four truckloads of rice were sent by the National Food Authority to the victims of the earthquake.
01:14The President promised to provide the most necessary aid to the victims of the calamity and to continue the rescue operation for those who were trapped in the flood and earthquake.
01:25There are other places that are still being rescued.
01:29But of course, those in evacuation centers that are being given relief goods,
01:34cash benefits have already started to be given so that the people can go home.
01:45When they go home, they will have money for their needs.
01:49But we will continue to provide them with food packs until they can cook for themselves.
01:59The President also ordered the addition of medical teams in Bicol.
02:04Public hospitals in Nagas City are still open, but most of the people are deployed in evacuation centers.
02:12The government assured that the supply of medicines is sufficient.
02:15So for the medical concerns, it's usually the medicines that we have to look up.
02:23First, the prophylaxis for the leptospirosis and all of the other diseases that come with the flooding.
02:34Hygiene kits, the same thing. We have enough. We have enough supply.
02:42The health department promised to give P142 million pesos in medical aid to the victims of the earthquake.
