00:00Almost 80 personnel of PCG Ilocos Norte are spread out in different parts of the province
00:07so that the effects of the typhoon León can be stopped as soon as possible.
00:11Aside from their assets, they are also ready for relief operations.

00:22The Philippine Coast Guard is ready for the possible effects of the typhoon León in Ilocos Norte.
00:2878 personnel of PCG are already on-ground to assist in any time of need.
00:34In the last forecast of DOST Pagasa, the typhoon León will not landfall in the Ilocos region
00:40but there will still be rain because the so-called typhoon will reach the tip of Region 1.
00:46Because of this, PCG is already preparing their floating assets such as life vests,
00:51floaters that can be used by residents stranded in floodwaters,
00:57rescue boats, and life support equipment such as oxygen tanks.
01:02According to Coast Guard Lt. Joseph Christian Sagon, commander of PCG Ilocos Norte,
01:08they have already prepared their equipment and are already communicating
01:12with their local government and government agencies
01:17in any time of need for their services.
01:21We are also coordinating with MDRMOs and coastal municipalities in the province
01:28from dawn to dusk.
01:31Anytime they can tap us for search and rescue operations, we can also do that.
