00:00Residents are now prepared for a possible landfall of a typhoon in Batanes tomorrow.

00:05Here are the details of the national news reported by Mayor Joy Javier of the Philippine Information Agency, Cagayan Valley.

00:12Later tonight and tomorrow, we expect a typhoon nearer in the province of Batanes.

00:18The possibility of a landfall in Batanes will not go away based on the typhoon update issued by Pag-asa at 11 a.m.

00:27Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 3 is currently in effect in Batanes, Silangang Bahagi ng Babuyan Island and Hilagang Silangang Bahagi ng Mainland, Cagayan, or Santa Ana.

00:38Meanwhile, Signal No. 2 is also in effect in other parts of Babuyan Island, Cagayan, and Hilaga and Silangang Bahagi ng Isabela.

00:47While Signal No. 1 is in effect in other parts of Isabela, Quirino, and Nueva Vizcaya.

00:53As part of the preparation of residents in Batanes, yesterday, some residents started tying up the roofs and houses with the help of uniformed personnel.

01:05They placed windows shutters in offices, schools, and other public and private structures.

01:13Some of the residents of Sabtang also moved their fishing and passenger boats to a safe place.

01:21Meanwhile, residents are also preparing for a possible typhoon to hit Calayan Island.

01:27They are also helping to move their boats and evacuation centers are also prepared for the residents who may be evacuated, particularly those near coastal areas.

01:39Relief goods such as food, drinks, and other necessities of the residents are also being waited for.

01:48According to the forecast, the typhoon will continue to be strong while it is in the Philippine Sea before it lands in Taiwan.
