00:00Steichen told us early in the week that it was going to be Joe Flacco.
00:08Something happened in the 36 hours after that, because here's Steichen yesterday, basically
00:14saying I changed my mind.
00:16It's going to be Anthony Richards at bat.
00:18You know, I've said the process, the process for a long time.
00:21And what I mean by that, it's the attention to detail in everything he does, from the
00:26classrooms to the walkthroughs, to practice, to the weight room, all those little things,
00:32right?
00:33It's just got to be at a higher standard.
00:35And that's what was talked about.
00:37And that's where we went with it.
00:39And so that was discussed with him two weeks ago.
00:43And those are those conversations that took place.
00:45And over the last two weeks, he's made strides in those areas, big time strides, becoming
00:50a pros pro.
00:51And is he a finished product?
00:52No, he's not.
00:53And it's my job to help him get there, along with the rest of the coaching staff.
00:57But he's a hell of a talent.
00:58Like I said, we've never lost faith or belief in him and his abilities, and he's shown strides.
01:04He really has.
01:05And with that being said, he will be our starter again.
01:07He's going to start this week.
01:09He's going to start the rest of the season.
01:12And we're going to go from there.
01:14I don't at this point believe a word that comes out of this guy's mouth anymore.
01:18He's flipped more than pancakes.
01:19I'm sorry.
01:21There is no way that he made that decision.
01:24That right there was Ursae walking into his office after he told everybody on Monday morning,
01:29Flacco was saying as a starter, and he said, put my number five overall pick kid in there
01:36and have him playing quarterback.
01:37Enough of this nonsense.
01:39He was told to do that.
01:40That was not his decision.
01:41You're right.
01:42You're right.
