00:00You also had City Sundance Smith who we talked to a couple weeks ago trying to get back on
00:06the winning ways, trying to get her name back in the mix as being, you know, maybe one of
00:10the women to watch out for against a newbie in Kat Paprocki.
00:14And Paprocki showed that she is a badass.
00:16She was not afraid of the situation there.
00:19Round one, Smith was trying to keep Paprocki at bay with a long jab, trying to keep her
00:22outside.
00:23But as you see there, it all fell apart later in the fight.
00:26Round four, Smith coming out aggressively as she did throughout the beginning of every
00:31round.
00:32But in all those situations, it seemed like Paprocki kind of responded and came back right
00:36when Smith was coming out, trying to be aggressive.
00:39Paprocki would not be afraid, would not be phased, would land some big shots, back her
00:42opponent up and start to come forward herself throughout the rest of the round and land
00:45shots here, there, some combos whenever she was able to get in the reach of Sidney Smith.
00:49And she did so even bigger in the fourth round.
00:53You saw those body shots.
00:54Those are the things that ended there.
00:55At one point, Paprocki came forward, landed a big combo to the body.
00:59When Smith dropped those hands, started hitting her again in the head.
01:02When Smith put the hands back up to cover the head, back to the body, and that is what
01:05does her in.
01:06She gets those body shots, goes down to a knee, tries to get right back up.
01:10But after the ref gets ready to, you know, get the action going again, kind of doubles
01:15over again in pain.
01:16Those body shots were too much for her to continue.
01:18And the fight is called there as Paprocki gets the win by TKO late in that fourth round.
01:23We're almost there to the bell.
01:26157 was where the, you know, ending of that fight comes into fruition there.
01:31And that is where it is stopped, 157 into the fourth round, just three seconds before
01:35getting a little break and trying to recover.
01:38That's the end for Sidney Smith there.
01:39She cannot continue.
01:40So Paprocki gets her first win while Smith now falls to one and three in the BKFC and
01:43might have to start questioning if this is, you know, the right situation for her.
01:47I know she loves it.
01:48And we've talked to her, always positive.
01:49I'm sure she'll see the bright side of this as well.
01:51But now three losses in a row after starting her career with a nice win for the BKFC.
01:57Before that, we saw Dylan Schultz versus Derek Perez right there between two guys in the,
02:02of course, the Bantamweight division trying to make a name for themselves.
02:05Schulte gets a second round TKO victory there, dropping Perez twice in that fight.
02:10Both of those, you know, drops came in the first round.
02:14Early on, Schulte just throwing big shots.
02:16Both these guys going back and forth, throwing major shots, as you can see there.
02:20One of them was giving up ground, standing in the middle of the ring, trying to outdo
02:23the other.
02:24The difference seemed to be that, you know, while Schulte was throwing some big shots,
02:28he wasn't, sorry, Perez was throwing the big shots, Schulte was the one who was a little
02:32more controlled, a little more landing it.
02:34And those hands of Perez just weren't getting enough up to block those shots and deflect
02:39them and keep them from landing.
02:40He gets dropped there and 15 seconds in goes down to and he pops back up.
02:45And later on, as Perez starts slowing down later in that round, he gets dropped again
02:50with just a little bit left in that round, 20 seconds left, so that's a 10-7 round for
02:54Schulte.
02:55Perez comes back forward again.
02:56He wasn't giving up in that second round, but it was just too much.
