00:00If you haven't watched the fights that we just saw for the BKFC this past week in Newcastle,
00:07you missed out. You have to go back on the BKFC app and check out these fights. There was some
00:12awesome action and that of course was punctuated with a great finish between European heavyweight
00:20title contenders Agni Falkner and Oskar. David Oskar, the Polish fighter, had a big 4-1 coming
00:27in there. He ends up losing this fight as Falkner stays undefeated, the English fighter, getting the
00:32victory in front of his home country fans. Oskar was number one in that division, but honestly it
00:38was a little surprise, you know, coming in there at 218, weighing in for this fight. You can't be
00:42that light when you're gonna fight these bangers at heavyweight, 240, 250, 260. You can't come in
00:47without that, you know, lower weight that he is. I think that maybe he needs to transition to a
00:52lower weight class despite the record that he had and it showed that he can't bang with these big
00:57boys. Now, you know, he had his shot. He proved something early on. First, you had Falkner get the
01:03early knockdown of Oskar. You think, you know, all right, maybe this could be a tough fight for him,
01:07but he jumps right back up and as Falkner comes forward, gets the knockdown of Falkner. And
01:13honestly, of the first knockdowns, you know, that was the one that looked more powerful. That was
01:17one that looked more dangerous. Falkner kind of was on his knees for a little while. You're thinking,
01:20oh man, maybe this guy's in trouble, but he comes right back and, you know, later on as Oskar
01:26stumbles him, you see him stumbling back through the ring, almost falling down, but somehow gains
01:30his balance right before the ropes. Oskar charges forward, smells blood, looks for the finish, then
01:36boom, gets dropped himself, runs right into one. Bad job by him not being cautious enough. That
01:42would only lead to more and more knockdowns for Falkner as he continues. He gets four in that
01:47first round, five if you count down the one that he, you know, dropping Oskar right after the bell
01:53had rung. That ends up getting a point taken away from him. It didn't matter. He was up four to one
01:57of the knockdowns there and then gets the finish five seconds into the second round with another
02:02knockdown, another straight punch, drops his opponent. The ref decides that's enough, doesn't
02:06even give him the eight count, calls the fight right there. Some just brutal knockdowns. Honestly,
02:11I thought you could have called it in the first round because there was one knockdown that Falkner
02:15put on Oskar that, you know, he was kind of stumbling around the ring, bouncing off the
02:20ropes, then goes down, bounces right back up. But even after the standing eight count, you could
02:25tell his equilibrium, his balance just wasn't there. Honestly, I think if the ref kind of did
02:29the whole, you know, go left, go right, come forward, you would have called the fight right
02:33there because his legs were not underneath him, right? It's dropped again before the end of the
02:37round, then gets, of course, the knockdown after the bell. So he was just compounding these
02:42knockdowns and it just was not able to come back from those probably could have been stopped before
02:47that you got out of the first round with Falkner just putting it on him. And now he is the European
02:53heavyweight champion. That was fight of the night between those two guys, as you see there, a great
02:58somewhat back and forth battle. You know, you had Falkner get dropped once, you had him almost get
03:03dropped the second time. But in the end, he proves to be the tougher opponent here, have the bigger
03:08chin, have the bigger punches, and now is the European heavyweight champion.
