00:06The President is also a part of the help to those affected by the increased calamity.

00:18Good morning. Through the proclamation issued by Malacanang,

00:22this day has been declared, November 4, 2024, as the National Day of Mourning.

00:27This is also a day of mourning for the entire country for the victims of Hurricane Christine.

00:33This day is led by the President, the observation of the National Day of Mourning

00:37that will be held in Barangay Sampaloc in Talisay, one of the affected areas by the hurricane.

00:43The Chief Executive will also be a part of the help to farmers, fishermen, and families affected by the calamity.

00:52This will be done not only in Talisay, but also in the town of Laurel.

00:56And in the face of the government's continued efforts to recover the victims of the calamity,

01:01President Marcos has decided that the government will not stop

01:05to give to our fellow countrymen who were affected by the hurricane.

01:12Fellow countrymen, we will not stop until everyone has recovered.

01:27On the occasion of Proclamation 728 of this weekend of Palaso,

01:31the Court of Appeal has ordered all government officials to place the Philippine government in the half-mask.
