Five individuals, including a member of the Pahang royalty, were charged in the Kuantan Magistrate's Court on Thursday (Nov 7) with allegedly injuring a man with a knife in June.

00:18Zani, age 39, Mohamed Fauzi Madnour, 44, Mohamed Tawfiq Daud, 44, and Kairul Azhar Rosli, 38,
00:28pleaded not guilty and claimed trial.
00:31According to the charge sheet, all accused were charged with jointly injuring 44-year-old
00:37Alias Awang using a knife, which caused the victim to suffer an injury to his right thigh.
00:43The offence was allegedly committed at a horse stable along Jalan Teluk Sisek on June 6.
00:50The charge was framed under Section 324 of the Penal Code, read together with Section
00:5534 of the same code, which provides a prison sentence of up to 10 years, or a fine or whipping
01:02or any two of the punishments, if convicted.
01:05The court set bail at 7,000 ringgit each and fixed December 11 for next mention.
