00:00A forced evacuation was carried out by the local authorities to those affected by the typhoon in Cagayana
00:05due to the threat of the March typhoon.
00:07The Department of Social Welfare and Development, or DSWD,
00:11assured that there are sufficient relief goods and non-food items
00:14that are ready to be distributed in places affected by the typhoon.
00:17This is the national news of Oliver Bacay from PIA Region 2.
00:21If yesterday, a pre-emptive evacuation was ordered by the Regional Disaster Reduction and Management Council
00:32to those affected by the typhoon in Marseilles,
00:35now a forced evacuation is being carried out in Cagayan.
00:39According to the authorities, the typhoon is moving slowly
00:42so it is expected that the rain will continue
00:45and the wind will be strong in a large part of Cagayan,
00:49Babuyan Group of Islands, and Batanes.
00:51In Calayan and the northern part of Cagayan,
00:54many people have been evacuated to evacuation centers.
00:57They are moving around to force evacuate those who have not been evacuated
01:04to our adjacent barangays, sir.
01:07According to the Office of the Civil Defense, Region 2,
01:09there are almost 4,000 families being evacuated,
01:12with more than 10,000 people under the pre-emptive and forced evacuation in Cagayan.

01:22is expected in Cagayan and Babuyan Group of Islands,
01:25all local DRRMCs are now on alert
01:29for its possible effects, especially in the northern part of Cagayan.
