00:00Not so sure, Kev, it's as easy as a game for Bama today in
00:07Tuscaloosa as the odds might predict. Thirty and a half is
00:11the spread in favor of the Crimson Tide against South
00:14Florida. Sixty-four and a half is the total. Last year,
00:17Alabama took the trip to USF and the Bulls hung tough. It
00:22was a seventeen to three game. South Florida easily covering
00:25as a thirty-point dog in that one. What do you make of this
00:29week two slate between South Florida and Alabama? We're
00:31gonna do this one final time, alright? And I promise I'm not
00:34mad. It's funny how many times I have to do this to you. I'm
00:37not mad at you. I'm gonna do you. Do me a favor. Read the
00:40two names that played quarterback in that game for
00:41Alabama. Ty Simpson, Tyler Buckner. All of the hammers out
00:46there last year that when they were trying to get Alabama out
00:48of the playoff and kept talking about the USF game, you were
00:50just embarrassing yourself. That's the reality and what
00:53you're gonna do is you're gonna show up to the window today
00:55and you're gonna bet South Florida based on a game that
00:58you didn't watch last year. You didn't bet last year and you
01:00didn't know what you were talking about. That's the
01:02reality of it. If anything, this should be a mega statement
01:06game for Jalen Milrow to not just South Florida but to Nick
01:10Saban and I know he loves Saban but what Saban did last year
01:13was a disgrace going to South Florida and benching that kid.
01:16If anything, it cut off his Heisman chances. He could have
01:18ran it up there. Fourth quarter been thrown five, six
01:20touchdowns against this garbage team. Thirty-one's the number.
01:23Bama scores whatever they want. They just might not want to
01:26because we saw that last week. They got they would get to the
01:28sixties by accident. Yeah. Because Kalen DeBoer has this
01:31group rip roaring and rocking with the best deep passer in
01:34all of college football. Set a market to lead the country in
01:38yards per attempt. Minus 600. Minus a thousand on Jalen
01:42Milrow. Twenty-two point eight yards per attempt. Week number
01:45one, Joe. Oh, brother. I'm drinking the I I thought you
01:50were still going. I mean, yeah. Drinking the Kool-Aid. I guess
01:52I was one of those hammers. You were. Because I did take USF
01:56plus the thirty-two and a half. I might take them plus thirty
01:59and a half in regards to this matchup. Will Alabama win most
02:02likely but Joyner and the running back for USF and Byron
02:06Brown could break it and put pressure on Alabama's defense
02:09and that was with the mastermind Nick Saban. Brown
02:12rushed for 170 yards in regards to that matchup. It was a wet
02:16track. I understand that. They contain Western Kentucky but
02:19I'm going to take the thirty and a half. I think this game
02:22trends to the younger because of the ability to run the
02:25football and that is the main concern. Not the offensive side
02:28of the ball for Kaelin DeBoer. Can we see that success on the
02:32defensive side of the ball that Nick Saban had each and every
02:35season? There are some that are optimistic by South Florida
02:38because of where they are in the American and Alex Golish
02:42now entering his second year as the head coach at South Florida
02:45of the Bulls comes over with an offensive mind under Josh
02:48was the former OC at Tennessee. Byron Brown, the
02:52quarterback for USF. I'm going over twenty-eight and a half
02:55rushing yards for him. He had twenty-three carries last week
02:58last year against Alabama for ninety-two yards. Only eighty-
03:02seven through the air and an INT. Last week against Bethune
03:05Cookman, 152 yards only but seventy-four on the ground.
03:11Alabama's going to run it up today. I would not bet South
03:14Florida covering this number. I do look at Brown over twenty-
03:17eight and a half. Kaelin Milrow, nine attempts last week
03:20for 200 yards and three touchdowns. Speaking of young
03:23wide receivers, Ryan Williams, more than a buck twenty as a
03:27true freshman and two touchdowns.
