00:05You're going out in top fashion here.
00:06You had to do it to us.
00:07What did you feel in that qualifying lap?
00:09Yeah, you know, after that first round I was like, I got more.
00:13I feel pretty good.
00:14They're like, what do you want to do to the car?
00:15I'm like, nothing.
00:16I just need to nail it.
00:17So I wouldn't say I nailed it, but I got darn close, and it was a good lap.
00:21So luckily it held up, and yeah, good starting spot for tomorrow, that's for sure.
00:26I have to imagine the throwback paint scheme helped with the speed a little bit, right?
00:31I don't know if it helped with the speed or not.
00:32I mean, I think just, you know, just thankful for my guys, you know, working hard, continuing
00:36to work hard throughout the year, and, you know, obviously we've been talking lately.
00:40We haven't had the season we wanted, but they continue to just show up and work really hard
00:45to try to be better, and our preparation this week was the same as always, and, you know,
00:50I really just appreciate those guys for their effort.
00:52So without them, we wouldn't have any speed at all, and I'm lucky to drive a fast car
00:55today.
00:56Martin Truex Jr. in his final full-time start of his NASCAR Cup Series career will start
01:00from the pole.
