00:19Dominic, a town in Ilocos Norte is one of the most affected by the typhoon Marseille.

00:25This town was not affected by the typhoon Marseille,

00:28but the strong winds and sea waves were the reason for the typhoon Marseille.

00:37One of the most affected by the typhoon Marseille is the town of Pagudpud in Ilocos Norte.

00:42Many houses were destroyed by the typhoon Marseille after the strong winds.

00:47Earlier, Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. went to the town of Pagudpud in Ilocos Norte

00:53to see the situation in the area after the typhoon Marseille.

00:58He visited the destroyed seawall in Barangay Poblacion Uno in Pagudpud.

01:04According to the residents, it was destroyed by the typhoon Egay last July.

01:10It was even more destroyed by the typhoon Marseille because of the strong winds.

01:15The government is also working on fixing the destroyed schools that were affected by the typhoon Marseille.

01:23Along with the visit of the President of Ilocos Norte,

01:26he also provided assistance such as rice, food packs, and sanitation kits for the residents who were affected by the typhoon.

01:34He also donated P70 million in livelihood and financial assistance

01:40to the 1,000 residents who were affected by the typhoon here in Ilocos Norte.

01:46He also visited his three children in Ilocos Norte,

01:491st Congressional District Representative Sandro Marcos, Simon Marcos, and Vincent Marcos,

01:55and several government officials.

01:58According to the President, this support is the result of the government agencies' assistance.

02:03Based on the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council or NDRMC,

02:09almost 3,000 families, or more than 1,300 individuals, were affected by the typhoon Marseille here in Ilocos Norte.

02:20While in the town of Pagudpud, which was heavily affected by the typhoon Marseille in the province,

02:24the total and partial damage of the residents reached more than 1,500.

02:37And if you have other needs, our LGU is there, the provincial government is there,
