00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has denied Pastor Apolo Quibuloy's request for the Philippine government to meddle in his cases in the United States.

00:16President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has denied that the Philippine government has no decision on whether the United States will enter the case of Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder Pastor Apolo Quibuloy.
00:28This is in line with Pastor Apolo Quibuloy's request to issue a written assurance to the President and Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulia
00:36to request that the United States will not meddle in Quibuloy's legal battles here in the Philippines in exchange for his submission.
00:43According to the President, this is a prerogative of the court.
00:46The court needs to talk to him.
00:49Because the executive, our role now is to arrest him.
00:55So all of these conditions that he's putting in are immaterial.
01:00The President has not yet approved the statement of Vice President Sara Duterte,
01:05in line with his request for forgiveness to the members of the KOJC
01:08because of his request for support to vote for the President in the 2022 National Elections.
01:14It's a prerogative. I still don't understand why.
01:19That is her wish.
