01:28She has that quality and in fact there's only one song in the film,
01:36she suggested that we will dance to that song, so they that because the lyrics were so funny and
01:41she was saying that Parvati's state of mind is that, then why the hell have I come back, so you
01:46know in olden days in like more previous Hindi cinema at least the thing used to be that
01:53the not it is just Hindi cinema, all cinema it used to and even now sometimes the song takes the
01:58story forward because of lyrics, so we wanted to have the lyrics making sense to the situation
02:04and we were using an already composed song, so she picked this one.

02:14I think one, there is a all India movement happening across the world, everyone's very
02:19curious about what we do, they're curious that there's so much different types of things that
02:24come out of India whether it's kind of films or just things from the country are being spoken
02:30about, so I think it's a nice one India wave that's going on and I know it's not something
02:35that will be short because India has so much variety to keep delivering over and over again,
02:40so yeah I think that's the flavor of the world also, you start seeing new things happen.
02:51See, it's funny right like when we're in India we mostly I mean okay she's different but
02:57we mostly think for Indian audience, we just want our people to watch our film and that's
03:00our first sense but we go to the rest of the world because their populations are much smaller,
03:06they find a way to reach the world because otherwise it doesn't make sense for them.
03:11I think somewhere it's a two-way street where we start looking at the world as one and say okay
03:16now whether I make a film in Marathi or Telugu should cut across and there should be French
03:21people watching it, so I think once the thought starts coming then we'll start creating cinema
03:26like that. I think that we make really good films just these people are waking up late.
03:37We are storytellers because we have come from such diverseness otherwise I don't think we would
03:42have been storytellers in the first place because there's so much in India that it has to offer us
03:48and I feel like it's how do you get your story cut across to more and more people.
03:55It's a challenge because there's so many people, it's also the convenience because there's so many
03:59people there to watch it if it works. So I think it's never a challenge just that's
04:05I mean population on a different level is a challenge not for filmmakers or art. I think that
04:11you know the more specific you are to the films, characters, to the locations, to the
04:18you know with detail, with care if you look at everything then it won't feel specific, it will
04:24just feel universal and then everybody like why when I was growing up also I used to watch films
04:30from all countries, from India also but I used to watch from Iran and all that. Why was I connecting
04:35to some film about a kid you know trying to go to school in Iran because it was so local
04:41I completely like I it was a character that drew me to it so I think it's the same over here if
04:47you make a film that is very specific to a particular place, very particular to the
04:51characters actually that will become more universal.
