00:00It feels amazing, it feels like a journey, it's been more than 10 years and it at least
00:14feels like I'm progressing and I'm moving ahead and I'm evolving and I'm growing and
00:19that's what I want.
00:25Which is tough for a producer's hat.
00:27Very tough, you have to manage too many people and too many things.
00:30And I'm not very good at multitasking, so for me I was like, oh my god, this too, this
00:34too, this too.
00:36I think as a producer you have to look at the film from a holistic sort of point of
00:43view.
00:44And you have to see everything from whether it's the edit, the music, small small details
00:49of how you want the best version of that film to be put out.
00:54As an actor, I think you're just thinking about your character and limit it to your
00:58performance, which is easier.
01:05I would love to, if someone writes.
01:07No, nothing special, I just feel like we've not had too many superheroes of our own coming
01:13from our country, except for maybe Krrish.
01:15And I would love to also do action, so why not combine the two and if someone writes
01:21Superwoman script, I would love to do it.
01:29It's 55 years and it's a great platform that celebrates cinema, celebrates films all
01:37across.
01:38And it's an honour for me to be here.
01:40I couldn't be here when my film Bhediya was in promotions.
01:44I was supposed to be there and I was sick and today when I got a call, I was like, I
01:49would love to be here, especially this year has gone by very well with the grace of God
01:55and I've had the fortune of films doing well, whether it's at the box office or now,
02:02OTT.
02:03And to celebrate that, I'm here at it.
02:09My first movie was, I was shot all over to be honest.
02:19Right now, I would say that I am also learning.
02:22I don't think when I'm acting and producing solo, I feel like it's too much of a burden
02:28and I may not also do justice.
02:30So for me, I feel when I'm, especially when I'm acting in a film, it's just nicer in the
02:36beginning to have a producing partner, which could be whoever, you know, who has the same
02:41passion for the film.
02:42When I answer this in the session also, when I get a great script, because yeah, I've made
02:53my debut there.
02:54It's been like home.
02:56I would love to do another Telugu film, but it has to be also a script that excites you
03:01as an actor.
03:07Absolutely, absolutely.
03:08Absolutely.
03:09I don't think when you listen to a story, you even think whether it's a girl's story or
03:12a boy's story.
03:13You know, you never think.
03:14So I don't think there's ever a bias there or anyone thinks differently.
03:19I think a female perspective on things can come with a lot of shades like how Kanika's
03:24does.
03:25You know, it can have a different perspective on the same characters.
03:29It also is nice when you want to show women in different lights and stronger lights.
03:36And I think women also have a lot of empathy.
03:40They're just compassionate by nature.
03:42And I feel that brings about a lot of heart in the story.
03:53It's not come to me, so I can't think of it.
03:55I swear, if this was in my mind, I would have got it written.
03:59So now it's in my mind.
04:07It depends on the film.
04:08I can't say, let's shoot a film in Goa.
