00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development continues to provide assistance to the families affected by the recent typhoons Christine and Leon.

00:08Yesterday, DSWD distributed more than 1,417,000 family food packs to Bicol, Calabarzon, Central Luzon, Eastern Visayas, Cagayan Valley, Ilocos and National Capital Region.

00:23Family food packs were also distributed to the affected areas of the typhoon in Mimaropa, Cordillera Administrative Region, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Socsargen, Caraga, Davao, Central Visayas and Marma.

00:37Family food packs were also distributed to various resource centers of DSWD throughout the country.

00:44Police, soldiers, uniformed personnel and civilians are working together to provide assistance to the families affected by the recent typhoons.
