In response to growing allegations of corruption in Sabah, purportedly captured on video, a non-governmental organisation has lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on Friday (Nov 15), urging the anonymous whistleblower to come forward.
Gerakan Kuasa Rakyat Malaysia president, Datuk Zulkarnain Mahdar, said that the whistleblower, who has yet to approach the MACC, should have done so from the outset.

00:00Today I appear to make a report, but I will come back to explain at two and a half o'clock
00:16God willing.
00:17So the order to the spread of videos related to the conundrums of business management
00:32or maybe their view is one business dealing with corruption and so on
00:41We don't want to comment on that
00:43This video is handed over to the SPRM
00:49And we see it's getting more viral because every day they release a new video
00:59As far as I know, when you know about a corruption act
01:06but you don't report it to the former BPR or now SPRM
01:12This is clearly a mistake
01:15And I have asked for clarification from the SPRM
01:22Does this act still exist?
01:26You know about a corruption act, but you don't report it
01:33And confirmed by the SPRM, the act still exists
01:37That's why we're here
01:40To explain to the people out there
01:45that when you know about a corruption act or a misuse of power
01:53then you should report it to the SPRM
02:00And as far as I know, and this is also related to many reports to the SPRM
02:08As far as I know, and I think I can ask the SPRM
02:14Anyone who gives information between you and the SPRM
02:19You will be protected
02:21With the condition that only you and the SPRM
02:26And as far as I know, you will not be the main witness
02:31So there is no problem with giving information
02:35So we ask the people out there, anyone who has information about corruption
02:40Come to the SPRM
02:42You don't need to tell your wife, your children, your friends
02:47You don't need to tell anyone
02:49You just give the information to the SPRM
02:53And I'm pretty sure that you will be protected
02:56You will get the protection document
02:58You will get the immunity
03:00The explanation will be given by the SPRM
03:03At 2.30pm
03:04Yes, at 2.30pm
03:05That's the point
03:06That's the point I have to make a report about
03:08The complainant didn't make a report
03:12This is for education
03:14Let me be accused of being wrong
03:16Because I want it to be spread out there
03:18As a lesson
03:19When you know about a corruption act
03:21We don't want to defend the accused
03:24That's their business
03:26That's their business
03:27We don't want to come here
03:28This is not because of the 8 people
03:30It has nothing to do with this
03:32I just came here because the law is there
03:35Why are people willing to do that?
03:37Because there will be a negative perception
03:39There will be a wrong perception
03:41You started to spread information about corruption
03:46But you have not made a report until now
03:50Your hair looks handsome
03:52It's been a while
03:53You cut your hair?
