The Selangor state government has decided to reduce entertainment duties to encourage more tourists to visit the state in conjunction with Visit Selangor Year 2025.
While tabling the Selangor Budget 2025 at the State Legislative Assembly on Friday (Nov 15), Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the move is to allow more Selangorians to enjoy the arrival of international artistes to spur the creative and music industries in the state.
Amirudin also said that RM8mil has been allocated to conduct promotion programmes and tourism events, along with upgrading tourist attractions.

01:48for local artists will be continued in 2025.
01:52For international artists, the entertainment duties will be reduced
01:56from 25% to 10%
